    Tinnitus

Is it tin-eye-tis or is it tin-it-is? Pete Townshend says tin-it-is and I always say tin-eye-tis. I don't think I have this.... wait a second the phone is ringing, I'll be right back

    Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is very talented as a sketch performer but he isnt a good stand up and he is a pretty lousy interviewer.
  6. Ipman, you are such a typical eletist. You say whatever you want and intentionally offend anyone you wish acting like you have all the answers and everybody needs to listen to your opinion. If you dont want people to respond to thing you say publicly then say them privately because there is a pm option too. so no, you dont get to tell me what I can say or not. I dont care what you believe or dont believe but I care what i believe and other people do too. if you check I never said you were right or I was right, or you were wrong or I was wrong, or that Jimmy Page was right or wrong. All I did was ask a question about how any of us can claim anyone else is wrong. I said people believe things and even if you want to say it is baloney that is a challenge to people to disagree, so why else then would you say what you said. Just because you talk does that mean you are always right? I dont think Im always right and I'm not even one who wants to debate religion. I just think when you call people out like you do and make offensive statement you need to wear big boy pants and take it if someone publicly disagrees with you. I guess I need to buy some more candles.

  8. I have never like bananas. not that they dont taste good but they are so embarrasing to eat with people watching. I also don't like pomegranates because they are more work to eat then they are worth
  9. how do you know prayers mean nothing? You can say they mean nothing and I can say they do. I cant prove you are wrong and you cant prove i am wrong. It is sad how many people have never seen a miracle. And talk about irony, even Jimmy Page believes in some sort of thing out there, not what i do but are you gong to call him impotent to for what he prefers? why so angry ipman?
  10. very sad and you dont understand what hospice is. Nobody wants to die alone.
  11. I wont return the favor with him by telling him that. I fear for his tortured soul. But this I also know, he will not ignore me because in a way I am his conscience here and he will return to see what I think about him like a kitten returns to a bowl of milk. Rock on forever!
  12. big words dont make big men Ipman. I learned that when I was helping out in a hospice. One of the patients was a very rich man and on his last day he cried all day like a baby and when I asked him why he was crying he said I am at the end of my life and have no way to apologize. It was sad how alone he was.
  13. Maya is my shining star. The fonts came from over the hills and far away rock on foreever!

  15. Thunder rumbles in the mountain passes And lightning rattles the eaves of our houses. Flood waters await us in our avenues. Snow falls upon snow, falls upon snow to avalanche Over unprotected villages. The sky slips low and grey and threatening. We question ourselves. What have we done to so affront nature? We worry God. Are you there? Are you there really? Does the covenant you made with us still hold? Into this climate of fear and apprehension, Christmas enters, Streaming lights of joy, ringing bells of hope And singing carols of forgiveness high up in the bright air. The world is encouraged to come away from rancor, Come the way of friendship. It is the Glad Season. Thunder ebbs to silence and lightning sleeps quietly in the corner. Flood waters recede into memory. Snow becomes a yielding cushion to aid us As we make our way to higher ground. Hope is born again in the faces of children It rides on the shoulders of our aged as they walk into their sunsets. Hope spreads around the earth. Brightening all things, Even hate which crouches breeding in dark corridors. In our joy, we think we hear a whisper. At first it is too soft. Then only half heard. We listen carefully as it gathers strength. We hear a sweetness. The word is Peace. It is loud now. It is louder. Louder than the explosion of bombs. We tremble at the sound. We are thrilled by its presence. It is what we have hungered for. Not just the absence of war. But, true Peace. A harmony of spirit, a comfort of courtesies. Security for our beloveds and their beloveds. We clap hands and welcome the Peace of Christmas. We beckon this good season to wait a while with us. We, Baptist and Buddhist, Methodist and Muslim, say come. Peace. Come and fill us and our world with your majesty. We, the Jew and the Jainist, the Catholic and the Confucian, Implore you, to stay a while with us. So we may learn by your shimmering light How to look beyond complexion and see community. It is Christmas time, a halting of hate time. On this platform of peace, we can create a language To translate ourselves to ourselves and to each other. At this Holy Instant, we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ Into the great religions of the world. We jubilate the precious advent of trust. We shout with glorious tongues at the coming of hope. All the earth's tribes loosen their voices To celebrate the promise of Peace. We, Angels and Mortal's, Believers and Non-Believers, Look heavenward and speak the word aloud. Peace. We look at our world and speak the word aloud. Peace. We look at each other, then into ourselves And we say without shyness or apology or hesitation. Peace, My Brother. Peace, My Sister. Peace, My Soul.” ― Maya Angelou

  17. Walter, When I first started this forum I tried really hard to be nice to you all the time but to many times you just get so pissy with me i dont get it. You said something that hurt some people and i called you on it but you diddnt leave it alone so that is on you. I hope only the best for you and your family and I have even lit a candle for you just now. I hope you have a wonderful life as well. Kipper ps. not sure what Steve Jones had to do with this, he is a great guy and one of our best members with all of his contributions. I hope you arent suggesting I dont like Steve Jones because that is just not true.
