I suspect there are more fans there than it may appear. While they have some long running radio staples, i don't know if they have actual mainstream notoriety anywhere outside of Canada. The only hype surrounding the band comes from the dedication of the fanbase. Kind of like Iron Maiden. They've sold out the biggest venues around the world for decades but with really just a (huge) cult following. Are there any young RUSH fans or fans from Russia? : rush (reddit.com)

I would speculate that if Bonzo was inspired and had the freedom to create, he would produce equivalent results regardless of the era, style, musicians or who produced him. I'm thinking Rick Rubin could make him sound pretty kick ass. I'll suggest that Bonzo was more important to Page as his muse and Framework for his Tangents, than Page was to Bonzo for how his drums were recorded. As great as the results be.
