A Walk Down Memory Lane: The Houses of the Holy
No Quota replied to SteveAJones's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
Keep your fingers crossed for one of the "Holiest Houses", the LA Forum. https://www.latimes.com/sports/story/2020-03-02/steve-ballmer-buys-forum-future-clippers-inglewood The e-mail from businessman Irving Azoff to Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and top advisor Linda Rambis three years ago laid out Azoff’s vision for the future of the Forum and the Lakers. “Here’s my dream,” he wrote in an email reviewed by The Times’ Nathan Fenno. “Rebuild the Forum from scratch. Lakers plus music. Boom.” Rebuilding the Forum from scratch would have meant demolishing the home of the Lakers and Kings from 1967 to 1999 that both teams left for Staples Center. -

Beautiful girls become prettier by a factor of 4 when they get off to some Zep. Dig the dial phone on the kitchen wall in typical 70's fashion. I wonder what sights the other 15 windows hold.

Radio Stations that Still Get the Led Out!
No Quota replied to Christopher Lees's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
I once called our local classic rock station that only plays the “Led 5” (RR, STH, BD, RO and MMH). There was a “guest DJ” and I asked him to play No Quarter. He had no idea what the song was but said “Oh yea I like that one “. When the song was over you could tell he was in shock! The manager must have railed on him because he said that he would to pay for that one or to that effect. -

Finding Led Zeppelin in unrelated places

I was watching the movie "Donnie Darko" the other night and saw the Swan Song poster on his ceiling above his bed. What makes it even more interesting is that is where the "time continuum split" and Donnie's eventual trip to heaven begins, when the engine comes through the roof and poster and kills him. -
Has anyone tried a matrix combining the sources? It works with aud and sb to enhance the overall sound Maybe the aud sources overlapping could do the same?

I wonder if there is enough film and enough angles to maybe try a hologram concert of 2007?

Need to find someone who worked at the Omni or FCS before they were demolished and see if they knew anyone associated with sound at the venues. Man to have a sound board of Atlanta.

Ah yes. Doing the time warp! Maybe we have a business model we can resurrect. Especially in Colorado and Cali now. Monday, Thursday and Saturdays, TSRTS. Tuesday and Friday Heavy Metal Wed, and Sunday TRHPS Taarna over Tim Curry every time though. -

It was a monthly event deciding what to go see between TSRTS movie or the original Heavy Metal movie at the midnight flicks. -
Favorite/Best version of Since I've Been Loving You
No Quota replied to EddieShouldHaveListened's topic in Led Zeppelin Live
Watching the official DVD and during the credits bit for the MSG part, there has a snip that sounds absolutely fantastic. I can't find a complete recording of this version. Does one exist? According to The Garden Tape site "Playing on the Madison Square Garden Menu on DVD Two is Since I've Been Loving You from the feature itself. This particular segment of the song is from 27th July 1973." -
I have my popcorn ready. Great thread. Brings back old memories.
