  1. Happy Birthday John Henry Bonham! I'll be throwing back a few for ya shortly and gonna put on the 5/31/73 show to celebrate!
  2. Plus they (Gilmour, Wright, and Mason) actually collaborated on TDB, unlike the previous 3 discs. I think it's the most "Floyd sounding" disc since "Animals".
  3. Me too. I was hoping to receive a numbered copy by pre-ordering....otherwise I would've gone to my local record store to get it also, Strider.
  4. Because with the players he has, he is EXPECTED to win. Go Spurs! Hope they can close it out tonight and rest themselves for a few days.
  5. Completely agree....I would like to add "Royal Orleans" is another highly underrated Zeppelin song, IMO.
  6. Used To Get High - John Butler Trio
  7. Glad you included Toronto '71 - BEST Celebration Day ever! Charlotte '72 is one that I have enjoyed for a while. Funny commentary from the 'necks recording it and sound quality is not bad, IMO.
  8. That sucks tomloge! A friend of our's son just hooked and mounted a 29", 16 lb. beast of a bass down here in a lake on the backside of Disney property. Very impressive!
  9. Thank you ladies! I told her about all of the well wishes she has received today, which made her smile and she says thank you as well.
  10. Thank you everyone. We are home and she's feeling well!
  11. Thanks to both of you! Only 1/2 hour more to go....
  12. I agree, great article - this is where they really secured their future as a band and for the Page/Plant collaboration writing process.
  13. Sitting here waiting for Mrs. Walter to begin her final "bad" chemo treatment. She will still receive experimental doses until February of next year (and 30 radiation treatments this summer), but those side effects are nothing compared to what this chemo poses. She is A CHAMP!
  14. They shouldn't re-sign him until most of the season is over, at least, given his recent back issues. Not that I want to discuss Cowboys injuries....I'm sick after Sean Lee was lost for the season after blowing out his knee in OTA's earlier this week. Big loss, but at least it's in May and not August.
  15. I actually enjoy the 7/17/77 Seattle version the most.
  16. Really digging' this new group! Thanks for posting!
  17. Yeah Hamilton has been looking like a moody little bitch. I am really becoming a Richardo (sp?) fan. That kid can drive and never gives up - another podium finish for him today. I love how tight that Monaco course is...amazing they can drive that fast there. Indy currently underway - caution free. The last 30 laps should be something!
  18. Over The Hills And Far Away - Earl's Court, London - May 24, 1975
  19. Monaco GP qualifying. Pph, you should join the racing thread F1 discussion. Who is your driver?
  20. Yes, I'm glad I watched those races on my dvr....was able to fast forward through the dull parts - which was much of the China race. Hamilton is just untouchable. Even his pit crew can't slow him down! Today is like Christmas Eve for race fans....tomorrow we have the Monaco GP in the morning, Indianapolis 500 in the afternoon, and Charlotte in the evening for the 600. Should be a wonderful day to cookout, swim, and check out the racing! Perfect....
  21. Interesting that he doesn't say that about LZ I, considering there are no extra studio tracks accompanying that release. Will CODA get any extra studio cuts for other songs during that time period? Also, didn't he say he'd put it "all" out there for the 90's remasters releases? As far as Presence goes, given Jimmy's state at that time, it's no wonder he forgot about extra studio cuts from that time period. Glad he's still with us to oversee this project and to deliver "the goods" from the Zeppelin vaults!
  22. Presence tapes in an unmarked box?!? I can't even imagine...and am very surprised they didn't get stolen! There have got to be many crazy stories to be told about how these songs/tapes surfaced.
