  1. R.I.P Uriah Heep keyboard player Ken Hensley.
  2. The mix is the is no different, the problem was the LP being pressed too loud (too hot) for many of the record players of the day causing the stylus to jump out of the groove.
  3. Toll roads eh, not something I have to deal with here unless I want to drive over to Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnel , then that costs about $2 each way. So, anyway, $26 is that for a week/month or a limited ammount of journeys.
  4. Errr yes, Danmarks Radio, you should know what that is. I'm not going to tell you.
  5. How about Danmrks Radio, Touts en Scene(?), Superstars in concert etc, all widely known before the internet came along.
  6. Fired or made redundant, different things. Made redundant I would think with the possibility of getting their jobs back when covid is finally controlled.

Horrible tackle, but that's footie, these things happen, looks like VVD is out for the rest of the season.
  8. Read about this on Twitter, not bought CR since they stopped cover mounted CDs
  9. I wish there was, if I was a newsagent I would not stock it, I would not stock the Daily Star either, another low brow piece of shit. Maybe the Daily Mail too, the Express also. pretty sure I'd go out of business pretty quick. Think I'd do ok with a head shop or a record shop.
  10. I was bagging my groceries in the supermarket recently, Sharron the checkout girl asked why I was pulling a face, I gestured to the guy next in line, he had the *** on the belt, that thing there I said quietly. The lies the *** published about Liverpool supporters thirty + years ago will never be forgotten.
  11. The myth has been around for years. I remember reading about it in one of the music weeklies, (NME/Melody Maker/Sounds). It was probably in the NME, the kind of story they would concoct.
  12. I don't really know, it could have been, Whoever they were they were possibly the worst band I have ever seen, not far behind are Samson who supported Robin Trower, a mismatch if ever there was one.
  13. I must admit I was a bit peeved that the Liverpool show was such a late addition to the tour that VH would be unavailable. I can’t remember who the support was except they were shite.
  14. I couldn't possibly agree, like I said before in the early days of Black Sabbath there was no such thing as a heavy metal section in record shops.
  15. I blame Kerrang magazine, they started the Black Sabbath heavy metal thing. I'm talking "Ozzy era" too.
  16. This really "grinds my gears", back in the day, say when Paranoid was gracing Top of the Pops NOBODY called Black Sabbath a heavy metal band, they were/ heavy/hard rock. One could walk into any record shop in the early seventies and you would not find a heavy metal section, they did not exist. Heavy Metal turns fifty, bollox I say.

Man, you're an early riser, it must only have been 5am when you posted.
  18. No tour, no shit Sherlock, like that hasn't been obvious for forty years now.
  19. No tour, no shit Sherlock.
  20. Another issue of "WHO", the third already. PTs milking this one, it's only been out a year.
  21. Yeah, me too, was not expecting that, the metamorphosis scenes too left me a little queasy. [and] That heel scene, ouch.
