  1. onTrader Joe's vegan noodle boxes. I tried the kung pao and YUCK. Tasted awful, and was really weird to prepare.
  2. Shockingly I think this one actually kind of works, although I truly expected it to be a train wreck...
  3. Oh Knebby, I am just now seeing this for the first time and am in shock. What a despicable thing to do; I am so sorry that this happened to you and your family.
  4. Figuring out how to do something technical all by myself (My new apps weren't downloading; had to unclog a couple of settings on the droid).
  5. I tried a new bread recipe last night and it was ok taste wise, but horrible dough to work with. I'm never doing that one again!
  6. My 2 youngest were involved with the high school play, which has been showing all weekend. I'm going again today with their grandparents for the final performance
  7. Disc 1 of the Police boxed set
  8. Making baked ziti with homemade red sauce; homemade bread, and preparing to try out a new granola bar recipe for the coming week.

  10. Oh no, I don't feel bad; it's just weird to no longer know who all the bands on the list are! I do think it's an untapped market though, with the potential for some very interesting corporate sponsorships! Since I'm volunteering my event planning skills, I'll make sure the 40s are represented too
  11. I love the way the wife rolls her eyes
  12. This makes me feel really old; I am familiar with maybe 5-6 of those bands. Still think it would be great to develop a festival for the older Gen X/Baby Boomer generation. I'll help!

  14. I love Suit and Tie; it reminds me of the 80s; early Janet Jackson, Bobby Brown Smooth R&B Of the choices listed I would pick the Jackson Five; I had several albums and listened to them a lot when I was in elementary school. But the posters on my wall when I was 11/12 were of Luke Skywalker
  15. "The Last Man" by Vince Flynn
  16. I think I'm ok with sucking it up and having an extra cup of coffee for a day or two.
  17. The first day or 2 is always rough, but having daylight after work more than makes up for it!
  18. This was hilarious: Jack White and Stephen Colbert, Catholic Throwdown: http://www.inquisitr.com/117105/video-jack-white-vs-stephen-colbert-catholic-throwdown/
  19. I didn't realize how bad aspartame was until a couple of years ago; and gave it up completely. No more diet soda either (haven't had regular soda in about 10 years). The last holdout is splenda in my coffee, but I'm trying to switch to agave. (not really crazy about it though; don't like real sugar in coffee either).
