zdr
John Bonham must be rolling in his grave. Jason make your own music. And since when is anybody's business what the Bonhams are doing? If you don't like it - don't buy a ticket.

bigzepfan
More weirdness with tickets. tickets were supposed to go onsale today 10am for poughkeepsie on 11/5 on ticketmaster. As always i'm online at ticketmaster.com waiting for the box to change to buy tickets a few minutes before 10. It changes at ten as scheduled, however I go on and there are no tix available...already I'm thinking. There is no way scalpers are going to buy out the mid hudson civic center for this show so i call ticketmaster and they say that are tickets are not available for this show! I call the box office and they don't open until noon. Glad it's a nice day for a ride to poughkeepsie!
SteveAJones
Experience Led Zeppelin By Theresa Mallam Prince George Free Press September 30, 2010 It is a tribute to his Dad, the band and the music but most of all Led Zeppelin Experience is a great story about how much it all means to Jason Bonham. Jason Bonham is the son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. The two had a bond that surpassed the music. "When I decided to do this show, I didn't want to just rely on the fact that my Dad was in the band," Jason told the Free Press Thursday from his home in Florida. "I wanted to make it very personal as personal as it could be. I wanted to have a story with it and not just have it be about (performing) the music." Audiences will get to see rare family footage on the big screen, he said. "With the help of my Mom and sister, we put together old home footage that we could use. So there's footage of me as a young kid and even some of Dad as an eight-year-old. There's me and my Dad playing together. When I got that ready, I just kept pushing for LED, huge screens and then I wanted a fantastic light show. I said if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right." The Led Zeppelin Experience tour will rock Prince George on Oct. 9. Jason said he wants to trace his personal trip through life with the music of Led Zeppelin so that audiences can get more insight and understanding not just of the famous rock band but also the man behind the drums. "These guys in the band were my 'uncles' and this show is about how Led Zeppelin and their music affected me," Jason said. "You'll see footage of my Dad when he was on tour and we were at home. My mom and dad married at 18. He began playing at 15 and within four years he's with a famous band and became a drumming legend in every drummer's eyes." Jason is excited about the tour. "We do four set changes as we go through the years. There was a long list of things I wanted and I got them all. I think it's a fantastic show." Jason Bonham is an accomplished drummer is his own right. He played 200 shows a year with Foreigner and his new band has just released their debut album. Jason teamed with Annerin Productions, the company behind The Pink Floyd Experience to create a once-in-a-lifetime concert. The special event promises an "epic, intimate and unforgettable night of rock n' roll" and is timed to mark the 30th anniversary of John Bonham's passing on Sept. 25, 1980. Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience tour comes to the CN Centre on Saturday, Oct. 9. Tickets for the show are at all Ticketmaster locations. http://www.bclocalne...nment&bc09=true Edited October 2, 2010 by SteveAJones

SteveAJones
I'm attending Dallas, Seattle and the tour finale in Vancouver (VIP Package). Making inquiries on San Francisco, Portland and Bellingham. I'd catch all 30 dates if I could but can't so just feeling fortunate to make three shows . SteveAJones
That's a pretty good deal for Vancouver on the VIP package. Too bad they don't have one for the NYC date. I'd be all over it. I'm still considering the San Francisco & Portland gigs but I've got tickets for Dallas, Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver. I've never been to any of the venues so that will add a bit of excitement to my overall experience.

Aquamarine
I'm not sure that front row will be the best way to experience this sort of show--rather like being front row in a movie theatre.

Good point and I've been thinking of that as well recently. Since there will be so much multi-media involved with the show, it might be better to be back a few rows. Either way, it's gonna be a good one. I have third row in NYC.
Led Zep Gurl
I haven't bought my tix for the Merrillville, IN show, kinda waiting to see who is playing with him and what the show will be like before I buy them. Your probably going to throw on a little Zeppelin or visit this forum that night so why not go and catch the show and let us know what you thought of it

Still lot of tickets available at this date/location though. I'm a bottom line guy - it's Jason Bonham paying tribute to his father. There are many examples of the production companies' work available for review and besides tickets are relatively inexpensive anyway.
