in_the_evening
So I saw this on reddit. What's your favorite three song streak on an album. Examples: Pink Floyd -> Animals. Dogs, Pigs, Sheep. Talking Heads -> Stop Making Sense. Girlfriend is Better, Take Me to the River, cross-eyed and Painless. Led Zep-> Zoso. Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Going to California. The Clash -> London Calling. Hateful, Rudie Can't Fail, Spanish Bombs. Edited October 8, 2012 by in_the_evening
Strider
Marvelous. I guess you're not talking about the original albums, cause the original "Stop Making Sense" has "Girlfriend is Better" before "Once In a Lifetime" and "What a Day That Was". As for Led Zeppelin IV..."Going to California" is on side two, nestled between "Four Sticks" and "When the Levee Breaks". "Battle of Evermore" is after "Rock and Roll". greenman
The Floyd epics seem to defeat the purpose a little considering a three song run in Animals makes up 90% of the albums runtime. Strider
3 not 5 He is listing three. First he writes the band name, then the album title, then the three song stretch.
the chase
Houses of the Holy: TSRTS, Rain Song, OTHAFA Physical Graffiti: HOTH, Trampled Under Foot. Kashmir Pink Floyd: WYWH: Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Part 1), Welcome to the Machine, Have a Cigar Yes: 90125: Owner of a Lonely Heart, Hold On, It Can Happen Pretty much spot on for me... I'd probably go With Tom Sawyer, Red Barachetta, YYZ for Rush. But three of these instantly popped in my head. I'd add Boston's debut More Than a Feeling, Peace Of Mind, Foreplay / Longtime Aerosmith - Rocks Back in The Saddle Last Child Rats In The Cellar.
