Are you kidding me? They took Memphis apart last month. Crawford and Bledsoe to back up the likes of Chris Paul, Blake, Jordan and now Chancey Billups is back!! You are nuts if you think they will go quietly. They will win the whole damn thing. They beat San Anton by 24

Look I'm glad the Clips are no longer the nerdy little brother of the Lakers; they've come a LONG way. But I just don't trust these regular season wins, though I get why fans use them as references for improvement. Yes they've beaten good teams this year, but hey, even lowly Washington beat the Heat

This roster is talented enough to have a circus monkey lead them to a winning record. I just think that with Del Negro - who can't coach himself out of a paper bag - at the helm, this team will not go deep in the playoffs. When the same teams meet for a series, preparation, game to game and in-game adjustments are key, and there's no way Vinnie can outcoach veteran coach Hollins and that wily fox Pop. I wish the Clips well, but no season is their season to take it all with VDN leading the way.

There's rumblings of Bargnani/Calderon for Gasol, but I'd rather trade them for prospects/picks as only one team in history has recovered from a record as dismal as that of the Raptors (4-17) to make the playoffs. Might as well blow it up. AGAIN.

Don't be surprised if CP3 and Dwight Howard orchestrate something together, maybe to Dwight's home town Atlanta. They've got the cap room and supporting cast for it.

Lets see if the Lakers can make the playoffs. Not a given because there are some good teams ahead of them. Del Negro is better than a circus monkey and good enough in my opinion with this talent to get it done. The lineup is simply awesome with Chauncey back and the acquisitions they have made. Crawford, Butler and Bledsoe are damn good players to back up the star power of Blake, CP and Jordan is a better center than people realize. He can take anyone to the rim. They can put a solid bench on the floor unlike the Lakers. OKC to me is a perimiter team and a two man show. Durant and Westbrooke. San Antonio must be respected because the young talent they have assembled is very good. So they can rest the stars and not lose alot just like the Clippers. The Lakers are getting pounded in Cleveland as I type. Yikes. I will tell you a team on the rise, the T Wolves. I like them. Your damn Raptors. I thought they could beat that lousy Portland team. They got into some fights I see.

I like Billups A LOT, and have always hated the fact that the Raps gave him away. He's a great floor general and super clutch. But we'll have to see how much noise they make post season. Again, I'm not rooting against them (especially now that the flopping rule is in effect :P ), but it's a steep mountain in terms of coaching talent they have to overcome. Maybe Vinnie has learned a thing or two... we'll see.

Lakers are disjointed, players with different interests. If defence wins championships, how do they expect to get there with an offensively minded coach (don't know if their assistants are D specialists, but it doesn't look like the players are learning). They'll be lucky to get out of the first round.

OKC is a very balanced team: Durant, Westbrook-can score at will; Ibaka, Perkins-inside threat; Martin-instant scoring off the bench. They can run, they can play half court, nightmare matchups. Killer for the playoffs.

Amir Johnson and Lucas III got into some altercations, but it's more about frustrations of losing setting in more than anything. I mean, who throws a hissy fit because the ref won't let him touch the ball?

Bloodthirsty Raptors fans are calling for heads to roll. This season more than most has really been the catalyst for wanting a new regime in. We flat out suck. We used to lose close games, now we're out of it by early to mid 4th Q. This will get worse before it gets better. The horror, the horror...

The Lakers lost AGAIN. To Cleveland and are in big big trouble. They may not make the playoffs if they cant fix this fast. Nash is going to help but he cant do it all. Howard has to take over. Clips are at Chicago. I thought the game was in LA!! Yikes. I laid 3 1/2 on the damn road. I just cashed in on Ny and Denver though. What will be interesting is Philly. When they get Bynum back. They are already holding their own without him. Could they be the number one challenger to the Heat then? Maybe

I mean in the EAst only

Clippers win again. The Lakers are a mess, I wonder how long it will be before D' Antoni is on the hot seat.

Half of Kobe's interview was bleeped. And he started it with talking about how coach's in the past have pulled them out of these funks with X's and O's. They are not fast enough and are too old. This is what Hubey Brown said as they can not run with younger teams. And the lack of defense is huge. Guys are quiting. Howard included.

The Clippes took care of business in Chicago. 7 wins in a row. The deepest team in the league in my opinion. They can put a second team on the court that would beat more than half the teams in the league. So who will the Lakers catch? Tonight San Ant at Utah should be a good game. If Utah is for real, that makes it real tough on the lakers. We know OKC, Clippers, Memphis, San Anton are not going anywhere. The T Wolves are a good team. Love is back. And Golden st with Ellis is far better than they used to be. It will take a big run to get in the top 8. If they dont beat the Knicks tonight they are in real trouble. Already are I should say.

I was both wrong & right about the Lakers before the season started. I thought they would gel after a few weeks, but also knew that injuries and age could bite them. Due to the NBA playoff structure where almost everyone gets in, they could still make a stand I suppose.

The Celtics are what we thought they were.

Nice to see some different teams in the mix so far this season.

its a circus. You have Gasol sitting on the bench. A coach that has no control over a bunch of "stars". And now the black mamba is on interviews with Stephen Smith

Strider, are your boys going to show up tonight? Or put another nail in D Antoni's coffin? He told off the media and Kobe had half of his bleeped. Lots of shit going on there. And Gasol sits on the bench like a scolded fucking school boy? Steven Smith of ESPN is having a ball with this. He has interviewd Kobe, told Barclay to shut his mouth and said as long as they have the "Black Mamba" (kobe) they have a chance but expects the Knicks to bury them with Carmello leading the way.

Clippers have 8 in a row and counting. Their second unit will beat more than half the NBA's starters.

Strider, I had to laugh my ass off when Kobe said "we need to play the Washington Generals if we have to to get a win".

You must have me confused with a Laker fan. ;)

Just kidding...but the day I watch a Lakers-Wizards game instead of going out is the day you might as well put me away.

Fuck the Lakers. Or, more precisely, fuck Jim Buss.

Such attitude Strider? How can you blame an owner that puts Dwight Howard, Kobe, Nash, all on the same lineup. And Gasol. you cant. You blame the coach so far. I am sure when Nash returns things will improve. But blame Howard and the players.

Kevin McHale is my all time favorite Celtic.. so sorry for his and his Families loss.

Also a side of Kevin Garnett we don't get to see very often.

Very touching moment.

no idea why my youtube posts show up like this...

Looks like they extended the time on the flood control. Anyway, the Clippers keep on rollin.. Great game tonight between OKC and San Antonio. The T Wolves have Rubio back and dont expect them to make the Lakers climb easy. Utah on the other hand may be the team that falls apart and opens the door. Denver on some nights plays very well and other look terrible. The Lakers win in Philly is the most impressive win they have had all year in my opinion. Philly is no pushover even without the forever missing ex Laker Bynum. When he returns, then we find out how good the 76ers will really be.

Lakers will get in. Minnesota and Utah folding like pup tents on a hot summer night. Clippers and OKC destroying everything in sight. If the Lakers can slick with Nash and Gasol and get back to being an elite team, then you have a four horse race. San Anton has to be included. But to me its the Clippers and OKC. The Lakers have the starting lineup to beat anyone if they can jell. But their bench will most likely cost them unless Mr DAntoni can use his bench in an ingenius fashion. I still think the Clippers are too deep and will take the whole thing

Who's gonna stop Blake?

Who's gonna stop CP?

Who's gonna stop the Clippers?

NOBODY.

Now that the Clippers have set a franchise record for consecutive wins, I might start believing the Clippers are for real. Still, long way to go until the playoffs, where we will see if Del Negro can hold his own against the other playoff-tested coaches.

Lakers are so sad, it's comical.

I bet them with Houston. They have to get it going Sean. Too much damn talent for them to not make a move. Are you kidding me? Wake up ye damned LAKERS.
