Strider Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 ^^^ Paul and Walter, you should still be able to edit your original pick post and add in your total runs pick. I did mine that way. Quote

kingzoso Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I am new to these type of sports contests so I do not expect to do very well with My picks except My final outcome pick. ALWC: Kansas City Royals defeat the Oakland Athletics NLWC: San Francisco Giants defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates ALDS: Baltimore Orioles defeat the Detroit Tigers Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim defeat the Kansas City Royals American League Championship Series: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim defeat the Baltimore Orioles. \\\ NLDS: Washington Nationals defeat the San Francisco Giants Saint Louis Cardinals defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers National League Championship Series: Saint Louis Cardinals defeat the Washington Nationals. /// 2014 World Series: The Saint Louis Cardinals defeat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 7 games. StL 4 - LAA 3. 2014 World Series Champions: The SAINT LOUIS CARDINALS!!! Of course My pick of the Saint Louis Cardinals to win it all is very biased. However, I really do have the Faith (and Hope) that the Cardinals have the Patience, Resilience, Experience, etc... that a few of these teams may lack. Good Luck to all the teams involved. Go Cardinals!!! Quote

Total runs scored: 50This is not to be misconstrued as an affront. As far as I know, the division series games are the best 3 out of 5, not the best 4 out of 7. Obviously, the Championships and World Series are the best winners of 4 games out of 7 games. Please correct Me if I wrong or incorrect. Quote

I always forget the Division Series are 5 games. Since I am more of an NBA and NHL fan, I am used to all playoff rounds being 7 games. So Rick, change all my division series picks to 5 games please. KANSAS CITY ROYALS in 7 WS TOTAL RUNS SCORED 66 Zepcoda you did not list a winner of the series between Anaheim and the wild card or Washington vs the Wild card. You need to re post or edit. Strider, it is not relevant that they pick how many games it takes to win the best of 5. I knew it was best of 5. But the ALCS and NLCS is best of 7. Glad to see you got in King and Zepcoda and Ebk. EBK, you may win it. Do not sell yourself short. Most people picked the Orioles and Dodgers. But plenty of time for more to join. First pitch is tonight sometime after 8 Quote

LedZeppfan77 Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 Just wanted Rick to know I have everything jotted down & will be keeping track of during the month... Thanks for doing all of this Paul. I have to leave town, fly to Newark to visit Hoboken and the City. Only a few days. I will have to watch a couple games of the ALCS down there assuming we get there. I sure hope so. Yesterday was a huge win. I do not feel their other big name pitchers have what Sherzer has. Not that they are not good, but Price to me has always been overated. I think Shields is better, comparing them since they were both in Tampa together. Biggest game ever for Chen today. The run support has been there for him this year. Now we go against Verlander. They say he is his old self again? Gee, nothing from Bongman yet. I guess he is waiting for the Tigers to roll over us before he posts. Quote
