This is when you know you're a true Michigander.....bring on Winter ! Yes it hit 90 in Rochester also. Today is the end of the northeast heat wave and I think we all drop into the 60's tomorrow. I am not as quick to beg for winter as you are. No thanks.

chillumpuffer
Beautiful day here also. Sunny and warm all day and it was good to get out on the golf course. But...... Sunday, apparently, is to bring the first mother storm of the Autumn.
Walter
Almost the start of October and summer is firmly in control. Record heat in central Florida - 96 yesterday, now this today. At least the dew point has regressed a little and is now in the mid/upper 60's.

Walter
Another tropical system coming through central Florida. Cloudy and heavy rain for the next few days. Roads are already beginning to flood again from last nights' rain. Edited September 30, 2017 by Walter

chillumpuffer
Typical Autumnal weather. Windy, grey and cool. Unbelievably no rain yet. Having said that the dark clouds are brooding and the curtain of wet is not far away.
JTM
I was going to get the leaf blower/sucker out today, but last nights wind has done the job for me. Plenty more to fall yet......

Walter
Wishing all of our friends in Ireland and the U.K. the best as they have Ophelia approaching. Crazy that it's still a hurricane heading it direction. Supposed to downgrade, but tropical storms can be a real bitch too. Let us know how things are going, please! chillumpuffer
It was really windy last evening and a bit this morning but we seem to have missed the worst. In fact it was very warm and sunny yesterday with the sky turning orange due to dust from the Sahara and smoke from fires in Spain and Portugal - very surreal. JTM
Weird sky Monday, taken in a neighbours garden around about 10am. Very warm for mid October 19c/66f.. luvlz2
Phoenix seems like London or Seattle lately with the lack of sunlight. No fog, no big clouds, but the whole place is covered in a cloud mist or something, it's almost making it dreary. I want my sunlight back. chillumpuffer
Freezing in the hills this morning but really clear and sunny. Mrs CP got me to scrape the ice off the car this morning. I went out and scored some de-icer
