bigstickbonzo
I figured Twisted Sister would be # 1.
whyalla
I love the 'Happy, happy, joy, joy' song, I played it non-stop when I got divorced.
MS1
This list sucks! Where the fuck is Alice Bowie?!?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkqp1ag1PCg N.W.H.? The goddamn Blues Brothers? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea9mV9EhPvE THE MONKEES? (not posting a link for that one.) Like Timmy and FYYBJ, tho. Jarlaxle 56
Gorillaz? Or is that just a real band with fictional members?
Horrorshow_Plant
Gorillaz? Or is that just a real band with fictional members? It's a bunch of real musicians hiding behind cartoon aliases. For example, Blur's Damon Albarn sings for the Gorilla 2D.

GetTheLedOut
WTF...no Josie and the Pussycats !!! You'd think that the name recognition would get them on there, but apparently not. No big loss though.
lzfan715
I figured that either Spinal Tap or the Monkees would be one. Why no Monkees?
Joelmon
First thing I thought was The Archies they weren't on the list ! I guess they weren't awesome enough in some eyes .. Wolfman's inclusion of Josie and her puddytats is great though... Edited November 30, 2007 by Joelmon
Joelmon
How could they forget..... Dukes of Stratosphere !! and what about The Glimmer Twins ?
Jahfin
Why no Monkees? Even though they begin as a totally manufactured band they also toured as a live act. The Jimi Hendrix Experience even opened for them for a while. You don't see a lot of mention of it but Michael Nesmith is highly regarded as one of the pioneers of "country rock" from his post-Monkees time period. kaztor (slight return)
No, sadly they're real...real bad. Well, they started as a fake Pearl Jam. And then they started to copy themselves! Endlessly! :'( Edited December 1, 2007 by kaztor (slight return)
Jarlaxle 56
I remember seeing a site somewhere that layered a couple of Nickelback songs together to show just how similar they were to each other...

bigstickbonzo
If I ever met those guys, I'd most likely throw a boot towards their heads for being one of reasons why "mainstream" rock sucks.

Jahfin
I have a simple solution for music I don't like: I don't listen to it. I may not care for artists such as Nickleback but I also don't spend a lot of time hating on them. Time is far too precious for that. I'd much rather spend that time concentrating on more positive things, like music I actually enjoy listening to.
