Dancing Day Photos

The Lady Who's Sure

Recommended Posts

Following the recording of dancing days, according to wikipedia, the band members went outside of the recording studio and started dancing, according to another source some pictures were taken. Does anybody have these pictures, sounds like they would be really cool pictures

I have a few photos from that sesssion. I'll post them here after I dig them up.

I believe the following video is part of that session:

There's more of this 8mm footage floating around too-Robert and Jimmy dancing IIRC.

I have them, but it'll probably be forever and a day before I find them. They were taken by engineer Eddie Kramer, and have appeared in various publications over the years.

The photographer Eddie Kramer's site is here: http://www.kramerarchives.com/

In the case of Zep, you can click on the series of photos from Stargroves that you want to view and, in addition to seeing the photos, you can hear Eddie talk about the photo shoot. There are also interesting photos and commentary about other rockers, including Hendrix.

The first time I saw it, I played it about 17 times in a row. I mean, even the dog is dancing! :D

I'm really glad all of you folks enjoyed that video! I love it too. I especially like the dog joining in on the fun too! It's like he's saying " Well, this looks like an opportunity for fun so I'm joining in".

This stuff is gold. I'm certain there's more of it from what I've gleaned throughout my research on zep video.

I almost want to say there are parts of this on the Film Noir/Assemblage DVD but maybe that's me being a wishful thinker.
