  1. WTLB is out there. Was only played the first few weeks of the '75 tour and the recordings of those shows are not the best. No SB's with Levee shows.
  2. Looks like Riley Cooper is having a tough start to training camp, with his teammates. Freedom of speech comes with responsibility, even when you're drunk at a Kenny Chesney concert!
  3. Still doesn't make sense to me. America, The Beautiful - yes, Take Me Out To The Ball Game - yes, Sweet Caroline -
  4. Strider what IS the purpose for the Sox crowd singing that song? Goofiest moment, for sure!
  5. If you've never heard of John Butler or heard him play, you must watch this:
  6. Well she was the inspiration for this beautiful song....
  7. My wife's disc, which just happened to be sitting out - I personally can't stand them! C'mon S, lay an album title on us!
  8. You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone - Brooks and Dunn
  9. I'm assuming we need to use a word from the previous title as a basis for the next title? Me And My Gang - Rascal Flats
  10. I agree with your statement Zeppy and fall into the category of readers you described at the end.
  11. More like the modern Barry Bonds!
  12. It's great when people here share their Zeppelin concert experiences. Any stories to tell? Which tours?
  13. Delete post. For some reason the video I wanted to post won't come up.
  14. George Zimmerman was armed when he was pulled over for speeding in North Texas on Sunday, NBC-affiliate KXAS in Dallas reports. Zimmerman was pulled over in his pickup truck on July 28 at 12:54 p.m. on Highway 80 in Forney. Zimmerman told the officer he had a gun on him and was instructed to put it in his glove compartment while pulled over. It was captured on the officer's dashcam. According to CBS 11 News in Dallas, Zimmerman asked the officer if he recognized him from television, and the officer said he did not. Zimmerman, who told the officer he wasn't sure where he was heading, was given a warning for speeding. A spokesman for Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara said they could not confirm the report, but they "have no reason to doubt the report." GZLegalCase tweeted the following Wednesday afternoon: For his safety, we wont make any comments about #Zimmermans whereabouts, and we will work to protect his privacy. Zimmerman was found not guilty in the death of Trayvon Martin on July 13.
  15. What a VERY COOL story!!! Welcome to the forum Gina! Man, that Atlanta show should've been an unofficial forum gathering!
  16. Music: Eight Things We Know About Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP' Lady Gaga, ''ARTPOP' BY STEVE KNOPPER JULY 30, 2013 | 4:55PM EDT Full Size Image Courtesy Interscope Information on Lady Gaga**'s upcoming album ARTPOP is so locked down that only a few tantalizing facts about the LP have dribbled out so far. We know, for instance that there will be an app involved in its release, and that the first single is a song called "Applause." Speaking to Rolling Stone, DJ White Shadow – who co-produced and co-wrote "Applause" – seemed as though he might be suggesting that it's an upbeat, danceable tune. Or maybe not? "I don't know, man!" White Shadow quickly added. "You tap your feet to a ballad. I might tap my feet to 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn.'" Here's what we know for sure about Gaga's latest magnum opus: 1. ARTPOP will be released on November 11th. Before that, we'll get to hear "Applause" on August 19th and see a video shot by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. 2. "Applause" is . . . fun! "I'll tell you that it is very fun," Gaga said earlier this year. "And that it's full of happiness, because what I'm saying in the song essentially is that I live for the applause." Adds DJ White Shadow: "It's just a fun song. There's no political commentary . . . I watch people's toes and they tap." The New Immortals: Lady Gaga** 3. ARTPOP is not just an album. It's an app, too. Gaga helpfully calls the project "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology." (Preorders begin September 1st.) 4. Gaga began working on ARTPOP almost immediately after 2011's Born This Way came out. "It couldn't have been more than a week," DJ White Shadow says, "and she hit me up and said, 'OK, the next album's called ARTPOP, let's go' . . . I was laying on my couch watching 'Judge Judy' or something and trying to chill." 5. Gaga isn't necessarily aiming for a typical radio-friendly sound. "She does not have to please anyone, and she is who she is," Zedd (the German DJ-producer who worked on several ARTPOP tracks) recently told RS. "Whatever is dope is dope. We do whatever we want, and we don't have to make a song that's three minutes and 30 seconds just to fit the radio." 6. Gaga will perform "Applause" at MTV's Video Music Awards on August 25th. "I'm sending a doppelganger," Gaga told Women's Wear Daily. "I'm going this year as a fried egg instead of hard-boiled." 7. ARTPOP is an electronic dance music album . . . or it isn't an electronic dance music album. Definitely one of the two. "We didn't try to make an EDM album – but, at the same time, we didn't try not to make an EDM album," Zedd added. 8. Gaga's rehabilitation from a broken hip helped inspire the album. "I was given the time to really be creative because it's a gazing process, it really is," she said recently. "I have to gaze into the work for long periods of time for it to be good." Adds DJ White Shadow: "She wasn't going to just lay in bed and have a morphine drip and pass out for three months. She was about making the record. She doesn't sit down. She doesn't chill."
  17. Yeah Cookie, it uses Good Times Bad Times.....rather well might I add! They synched the music to showing of the names of the actors and scenes very well. Looks like a good flick!
  18. Suspensions coming down tomorrow is what I heard on the radio this morning. Oh yeah and A-Roid wants to be a role model for the kids out there! Seriously?!? He really is the biggest narcacist ever! Great pic of you and your girls, Zepscoda!
  19. ^ A Happy Belated Birthday to you Rick, from the sunshine state!
  20. Interesting Steve. Do know how long or often they rehearsed for the tour? Did they play together at all between the 2nd Knebworth gig and those rehearsals?
