manderlyh Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 We have a friend who went to the Super Bowl this year. He's a lifelong Saints fan, (NO born and bred), and the phone just rang. I thought it was going to be him, all drunk and excited. Sadly, it wasn't him. I was rooting for them--my boyfriend, who grew up in NO, was decked out in Saints gear for the game. It was a fun game. Truthfully, the people I was with weren't too interested in watching the game: we were at a friend's house, and she's on bed rest, (preclampsyia), so both she and her husband were thrilled to have company because he's also become a recluse due to her condition. In result, though I sat facing the game about 99% of the game, I don't think I actually watched 90% of the plays from start to finish. Mandy, it's funny how you say that because your description was my situation as well. I sat there watching 99% of the game, but none of it reached my brain.
