cheesehead1204
Led Zeppelin have released two official greatest hits compilations (to my knowledge): Best of Led Zeppelin Early/Latter Days and Mothership. The two compilations combined contain a total of 27 songs: Good Times Bad Times Communication Breakdown Babe I'm Gonna Leave You Dazed and Confused Whole Lotta Love Ramble On Heartbreaker What Is And What Should Never Be Immigrant Song Since I've Been Loving You Black Dog Rock and Roll The Battle of Evermore When the Levee Breaks Stairway to Heaven The Song Remains the Same No Quarter D'yer Mak'er Over the Hills and Far Away Trampled Under Foot Kashmir Houses of the Holy Ten Years Gone Achilles Last Stand Nobody's Fault But Mine All My Love In the Evening If you had to choose just 5 songs to add to this list of "greatest hits" what would they be? This was hard to choose, but for me: How Many More Times The Rover The Ocean Going to California In My Time of Dying

Matjaz1
Well if you are a fan, there will always be something missing from this kind of compilations and you probably won't even listen to such compilations if you really love the band and most of it's work. Another thing is Zep never really had chart hits, so the question is, how do you define, what is missing from greatets hits compilations?? Are these personal favourites that you would like to see on early days/latter days and mothership or are this very known songs for which there just wasn't enough space on these compilations?? If i would pick a more bizzare and ''non hit stuff'' choice, i would say Hot's on for nowhere, That's the way, I'm gonna crawl, Tea for one and Fool in the rain if i would pick more obvious stuff it would be The rain song, Tangerine, Going to california, The Rover and Bron-yr-aur!! SelfDevouringSnake
1. "The Ocean" - My favorite song not included on either. 2. "The Rover" - Awesome song. 3. "Going to California" - One of my favorite acoustic Led Zeppelin songs. 4. "Moby Dick" - I was really surprised not to see this on Mothership, I'd thought they'd want to showcase Bonham's skill. Those are the only ones I mind not seeing in there. Don't know what I'd choose for fifth.

Saved me the trouble of having to worry about stuff like this. It's not really a matter of not being able to listen to the song. It's a matter of what songs you consider worthy of being on the greatest hits albums.
MMAharaja
How Many More Times The Ocean The Rover The Lemon Song Going to California Not sure if they were "hits" but I like them more than some of the songs that did make the album.
