Ambulance took me to hospital 1am in minus ten degree temps. My right hip came out of the socket, new hip, most pain I have ever felt. Non stop. They put an IV in on the ambulance. Already doped up on Oxy, gave me fentanyl, dilaudid, and other stuff at hospital. I was lucky as they were able to knock me out, and put it back in place.

Ouch !!

Lovely places, lucky girlfriend! :)

Thank you, Dd! Hopefully my girlfriend and I won't break-up before we do our trips! Lol. We may visit Biloxi and the coast of Mississippi -- your neck of the woods -- but the whole Mississippi coast is full of casinos.(we don't gamble). Is the Gulf Coast worth visiting?

The Gulf Coast is definitely worth visiting, especially if you are already coming to Mississippi. Even if you don't gamble, the casinos offer good entertainment/concerts, there are several museums, great seafood, beautiful coastline, schooner cruises, boat trips to Ship Island, and there is always some type of festival such as Mardi Gras, several seafood festivals, cruisin the coast (antique cars), smokin the sound (boat races), and quaint towns with great art/pottery shops. Hope that helps!

Thanks, Dd. You've convinced me -- we'll be visiting the coast.

^^^ That sounds like a beautiful sight, Dd.

Today, I'm planning to donate many articles of old clothing and 15 boxes full of miscellaneous items to Goodwill. My donation will be good for the needy, will give me a nice tax deduction, and will leave my house completely and utterly clutter-free.

This kind of belongs in both the Un-happy and Happy threads.

I got a phone call this morning around 1:45 from this boy I work with. One of our co-workers was in a car accident. T-boned. He's okay, thankfully, nothing serious. This boy was the first to arrive at the hospital. He said that my co-worker saw a bright light and his best friend who passed away in a motorcycle accident last year. He was very shaken up, according to the boy. The boy had never called me before, but he rang me to tell me that it made him think about people, and life, and how much he appreciates that I am always there for him when he has girl problems, personal problems etc.

That made me feel good. :)

Also, kindness and friendship of others makes me happy today.

I scored 4 straight tens at 40 yards this morning at archery. In fact, I was on fire today after a last few weeks of duff/crap shooting.

My coach lent me some twin rods and a V bar which gave me more stability and helped my draw issues, even though my set up ended up weighing a ton. I hadn't the heart in telling him that I was on the verge of pinching the V bar and twin rods.....that would be rather cheeky of me!
