Page Les Paul
I have been upgrading my shows with shows that have been remastered. I have compiled a list of the shows that I have that were remastered and sound great for what they did with the source. I know a couple of the individuals, who have remastered shows, are on this forum so I thank them for their great work. Here is what I have so far. 01/22/1973 Southampton Liriodendron Remaster 05/13/1973 Mobile Dadgad Remaster 05/26/1973 Salt Lake City Dadgad Remaster/Led Zeppelin Boots 02/14/1975 Nassau Grame Remaster 03/03/1975 Fort Worth Liriodendron Remaster 03/14/1975 San Diego Liriodendron Remaster 03/21/1975 Seattle Grame remaster 05/18/1975 Earl's Court Led Zeppelin Boots 05/24/1975 Earl's Court Led Zeppelin Boots 05/25/1975 Earl's Court Liriodendron Remaster 04/28/1977 Cleveland Led Zeppelin Boots (Two Source Merge) 05/21/1977 Houston North Bridge Remaster 05/22/1977 Fort Worth Liriodendron Remaster 05/26/1977 Landover Pseudonym Remaster 05/30/1977 Landover Lirodendron Remaster 06/07/1977 NYC North Bridge Remaster 06/25/1977 Los Angeles Winston Remaster 06/27/1977 Los Angeles Dadgad Remaster 07/17/1977 Seattle North Bridge (with video) 06/20/1980 Brussels Winston Remaster 06/30/1980 Frankfurt Liriodendron Remaster 07/05/1980 Munich Weedwacker Remaster Can anyone recommend any other shows which have had the remastered treatment? Was either Knebworth show remastered by one of these individuals? Thanks in advance for your help!
SteveZ98
The only North Bridge soundboards I've released that I still have available for download are the ones you have listed there. There were a couple others (5/25/75 and 5/25/77) that were terrible and should never have been released. Also, Winston has done a bunch more than what's on your list. There's a thread on this site about his remasters, and it includes a list of what he's done. One of his that I really like is his version of Blueberry Hill. It's called "The Great Love Affair". I haven't compared the two. Despite how much time I spend remastering Zep shows, I actually don't care too much about sound quality so I don't try to collect every version of a show to find the one I think sounds best. I'm typically fine with whatever version I'm listening to at the moment. For Blueberry Hill, Winston's version was the first time I heard the stereo source and it's remained my go to since then. I picked up the Nite Owl release and listened to a few songs and they sounded good, but it didn't make such an immediate impression that it made me forget about Winston's. For 5/24/75, I think Dadgad did a better job than me, so I would go with his version. Grame remastered 2/10, 2/28, 3/5, 3/11, 3/19, and 3/24 for 1975 in addition to the shows you listed. Dadgad has remastered a ton of shows including (I believe) all the US 73 boards. As Steve said, Winston has also done a ton of remasters that are worth checking out. Nutrocker
Not so much remasters, per se, but a few years back I did lash together versions of the June 8, 10 and 13 MSG shows using the alternate sources as the basis and the more common sources to complete and patch the recordings. Now, of course, I can't the discs with either the raw individual sources I used (I would have put them up at the Den with this last batch I uploaded there) or the compilations, but I did put them up on Dime, I believe, back when I did them. I also gave copies to a few individuals here...

High-hopes Hailla
Thanks for this list. I've got about half that are on it and I like them all (or I wouldn't still have them). And now I've got a bunch more to seek out. Anyone on this forum who's responsible for any of these gets a huge fuckin' "Eye Thank Yew" from me, because all the ones I've heard are truly excellent additions to, or improvements on, the releases and sources you're working from--and you've got skills I sure don't have. Someone asked, "Winston or Nite Owl?" I think the Winstons I have are great (especially the '80 soundboards), but Nite Owl's matrix magic is on a totally new level. I'm old enough to have seen Zep live, which means I'm too old to compare remasterings, unless someone would pay me to, because I just don't think I've got enough time left. (I'm not entirely joking.) Luckily I don't have to compare. I just appreciate the excellent work I'm able to download, and I'm still amazed at what is available now, compared to when I bought my first vinyl Zep boot in '78, or when those first, sometimes really lame, CD's started coming out circa '90.. All of the Nite Owl's are a clear improvement over the previous versions I have (or had in some cases as I deleted several shows once it was clear the Nite Owl version was my go to). I like the Winston's too. And Graf Zeppelin, dadgad, JRK Remaster, Pseudonym...pretty much can't go wrong with any of those. I got a ton of shows from zoso.me (there are quite a few of Winston's on there) and also from the Mega Cloud Drive that someone had put up on Guitars101 awhile back (last year I think it was). There was a goldmine on there before that link disappeared.
