SilverThread Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 To celebrate our third anniversary (and to get in the Halloween spirit), my husband and I carved some pumpkins. Here's the one I made: I kind of screwed up on the second "o," but I think it turned out pretty good for my first non-pumpkin-face Jack-o-lantern. Just thought I'd share! Quote

SilverThread Posted October 5, 2008 Author Posted October 5, 2008 Thanks! We were planning on doing the other symbols, but it was difficult to put them on a pumpkin. It took me a couple hours just to do Jimmy's symbol! Next year though....I'll do all four :-) Quote

Spacewoman Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Good one, Dzldoc! I used to love cooking pumpkin, but after this....yuk! I have made pumpkin jam last year, but now... I have a reason not to do it anymore, because it was a lot of work! Quote
rainydaywoman Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Cool pumpkin! My husband has been joking about carving a Steely Dan O'Lantern. (I guess there was an episode of South Park where the hippie teacher makes the class carve Steely Dan O'Lanterns, but I didn't see that episode.) Quote
Hotplant Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Then after the party... Cute! Have to try some of these with the grandkids. No...they can't have any beer! Quote
