  1. I figured it was time to post this due to certain comments. Please take the time out of your busy days to review and take the following test if you are, "reluctant" to believe scientific, observable facts. Ps. Please remove your tinfoil hat before taking test to avoid automatic fail.
  2. Hey, if ya like that I have a used fidget spinner for you to play with. That should keep a chap like you entertained for months 😉
  3. Huge Jim Jarmusch fan, plus, Tilda Swinton, one of the greatest contemporary actresses.
  4. To be fair, and I may be wrong (too often the case), but I believe the original version of the tune was to be listened to while tripping balls. I tell you this, never take hallucinogens and listen to Screaming Jay Hawkins. Yo ass will never come back from that!
  5. Extra tentacles, that's not bad, could be a bonus (Hentai?). But extra testicles, Whoops!
  6. To be fair the Lost Generation thought the exact same thing of what would be the WWII generation during the 30's. I believe every generation will rise to the call and excel when necessary. Now regarding that nasty COVID. You are correct, people were not recovering from Polio at the rate of COVID recovery, however I am also worried about the long-term affects of those who do recover from the COVID. There are many people claiming ongoing and severe symptomology after recovery and that is not good. Also, what about babies born to mothers who had COVID during pregnancy? Are there studies being done on possible affects to these infants? To the mothers? There are still way too many unknowns at this time. What I do know is you are not seeing the rich and powerful on either side of the isle refusing the vaccine. Every single senator and rep has been vaccinated including Ms. Green. All of Trump's family has been vaccinated. Fox News is constantly on about "evil vaccine mandates" and "government overreach" while failing to inform their viewers that Fox News has a vaccine mandate in place. Every single person who works at Fox News is required to get the vaccine or wear a mask. Talk about irony! I understand your viewpoint on this subject however it does ring hollow when the people claiming tyranny were literally the first ones in line to get the vaccine.
  7. On the plus side at least he was not Jim Morrison level MC. Just imagine a fed up Robert screaming, "You're all a bunch of F-ing Slaves!!! Wanna see my cock-a-doodle-do???"
  8. Looks like someone needs a hug. Don't be mad and mean, you only make yourself look unhinged. You know what they say, anger is just depression turned outward. This is for you my friend
  9. I wonder if that was the original pick guard? The shape of it looks much more cut with sharp angles compared to the typical rounded angles. I have never seen a pick guard like that on a LP.
  10. As we are almost in October I have two of my fav's queued up: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari & Nosferatu. Loved the German Expressionist films. Caligari is still IMO one of the best movies ever made and I never tire of watching it. The set pieces alone are worth the viewing, just magnificently insane.
  11. Loved the Three Stooges and the guy who started it all Ted Healy. Their story is truly an interesting one and Ms. Maurer was an excellent biographer. RIP Ms. Maurer.
  12. Well, one look at this thread should answer that question. I never thought I would see such ignorance and hate in the face of the most obvious facts one could imagine. Then again, they had the same moronic nutters in 1918 too. The real kicker is these are the same people just two years ago who were making fun of Jim Carey and Jenny McCarthy, now, they are Jim Carey & Jenny McCarthy except somehow, much, much worse.
  13. Here is a song which self-destructs the moment it begins
  14. This is one of the best new shows on TV, I highly recommend it. As a person familiar with "Rez Life" I see quite a bit of truth in it. What I like is that it's not political, it's just real and real funny as well. Every cast member is just great and of course the "ancestor warrior" popping up here and there, plus Uncle Brownie steals every damn scene he is in. The guy is my hero 🙂
  15. Last time I bought band merch the products sucked hard. The silk screening or whatever was fine, but the quality of the t-shirt was absolute shite. Unless it's in a store where I can see and feel, and try on the product forget it. Most of the on-line merch is just garbage from my experience. Like back in the day when I bought a Firm concert T at the Firm gig in 85'. Wore it once, washed it, and the damn thing shrunk up about a size smaller and lopsided. That was the last time I bought a band t-shirt at a gig.
  16. and not being a complete jack-ass is quite the challenge for you so strange that when YOU go off topic it's A-Ok but anyone else? This is for you chuckles:
  17. You do have a point there John. I really liked FDR's domestic policies but his foreign policy was a disaster. FDR, for some odd reason, genuinely liked Stalin and then dismissed Churchill's concerns. Why the Dems allowed FDR to run again in 44' when his health was seriously declining is beyond me. FDR was losing it mentally IMO by 44' and he completely shit the bed at Yalta. The China thing is more complicated though. Mao's forces had more popularity among the people, Chang's forces represented the status quo which most Chinese were not too fond of. As usual we backed the wrong horse (Chang) and Mao came out on top, really hating America in the process. We did the same just a few years later in Vietnam. The American advisors, mostly OSS / CIA were in Nam since 45' and had informed Truman that Minh was not a true communist, but a democratic socialist who wanted to partner with the US. Believe it or not Truman was actually going to back Minh and work toward re-unification under Minh but then those damn frogs (French) stepped in, and that jack-hole de Gaulle threatened the US that if we backed Minh to end French colonialism in Indo-China that France would align with the Soviets, and go commie. Thus beginning US shitting the bed in Vietnam, even after the debacle in Korea which should have taught us a valuable lesson. A lesson that 71 years later we still have not learned.
  18. YO!!! Shout-out to all the dopey folk out there
  19. Projectors to capture video for the nosebleed seats did not exist at the time, or rather were not used. I believe the first time Zep used them was for the 75' or 77' shows and I don't think they used them at every gig, only the stadiums however I may be wrong.
  20. Another pioneer gone. Melvin's Sweet Sweetback's Badassss Song is the one that started it all.
