Levee
For me it would be " Fortunate Son" by CCR. What say You ?
Zep 4 Life
Either 'Sweet Emotion' By Aerosmith, or 'Life's been good' by Joe Walsh Those would sum up my love for the new job!

zdr
Zep's "Rock And Roll" is suitable as opener for everything you want
Xtazy
Johnny B Goode got it all started for me, so that would be the one.
JethroTull
I would play all 45 minutes of the Jethro Tull masterpiece "A Passion Play".
Virginia
"Take it Easy", 'cause that's how it all started
Kiwi_Zep_Fan87
"Celebration Day" - Led Zeppelin Because that song would suit the occassion (the fact that I got my own radio show!) perfectly!!! BIGDAN
What a bunch of wimpish codswallop, Kiwi and zdr are the only ones with any real musical taste. I would start out with "Good Times, Bad Times" and Rock on Forever with a Musical Progression through all of their Albums playing every track in the order it was laid down until the end of time, and beyond. Well what else would you expect from a True Led Zeppelin Fanatic of the 100th Order. Regards, littledan
dazedcat
Sweet Jane.........either the Lou Reed or Velvet Underground version would work.

Electrophile
Yes, because if you listen to anything other than Led Zeppelin or deign to enjoy other music as well, you have no taste. Brilliant thought.
zdr
C'mon.. BIGDAN knows exactly what buttons to push with the "politically correct" fans, in order to get certain reactions. You should be use to it by now. Edited August 22, 2010 by zdr
JethroTull
BIGDAN's comment has made me rethink my choice. I'm changing it another 45 minute Jethro Tull masterpiece, "Thick as a Brick". The opening line says it all..."I really don't mind if you sit this one out". Edited August 22, 2010 by JethroTull
Deborah J
While LZ is without a doubt my ultimate, favorite band of choice...I would have to play: The Doobie Brothers "Listen To The Music". This song is what music in general is all about IMHO.
Kiwi_Zep_Fan87
I think "Radio Gaga" by Queen will be good choice too! But I'm sticking to "Celebration Day" because that song is rather underrated and besides, its stuck in my head right now! Besides, Lady "What's Her Face" got the inspiration for her rather unusual act from that song and quite frankly, I wouldn't want my radio show to have any links to Frankenstein's Wife! Jahfin
C'mon.. BIGDAN knows exactly what buttons to push with the "politically correct" fans, in order to get certain reactions. You should be use to it by now. Which is also known as "trolling" or "baiting", a bannable offense which for some reason isn't always enforced here. The board is over run with such members at present which is a cryin' shame.
Jimmy Page= King
Well I'm actually going to go on my school radio station now I'm in 6th form. And I think I'll play Rock and Roll by Zep.
