bouillon
FTFY Wrong. I was quoting U2.
Knebby
"Blinder" is not a word. Unless you are saying something like "He played a blinder". If you were "quoting" from "I Threw A Brick Through A Window" I would have expected a "grammar Nazi" to use quotation marks. Otherwise, it isn't a quote. Oh yeah, it's English beer (even though I know you prefer wine) so to not go off topic! Well thanks - though of course I could just stay out of it all if I'm not ready to fight my corner. Plenty of cool folk around here make it well worth a visit
bouillon
Can we maybe lay off the witch-hunt on Electrophile please? It's starting to look far worse than any bullying you guys are accusing her of. And strange for you two "newbies" to have such an agenda against her. I thought you believed in karma, Knebby? Good luck with that.

FireOpal
"Blinder" is not a word. Unless you are saying something like "He played a blinder". It's also slang for an exceptionally attractive person, at least in Keith Richards' book "Life." He describes an early girlfriend, Linda Keith, as a blinder. Knebby
Yeah in that context and the "played a blinder" context it basically means something great - so great it blinds you ("blinding" is used too )

'Cook Of The House' my arse. Your showing your ignorance now Bouillon, theres as much MEAT in Linda McCartney's Sausage's as there are in some of Asda's so called "Sausage's" mate. Kind Regards, Danny PS, Thoses Sausage's are from "Up North" because there isnt enough Mash for a Southerner on that plate for the amount of Gravy there. Texas Melanie
West End London, 1949, Piccadilly Circus looking up Shaftsbury Avenue Very cool photo Jahfin. It is unbelievably crisp and clear for the year it was taken. I think I saw those two buses last year, still in operation around town. :-)
