Okay..

Back to food...

I also picked up some Trader Joe's Pumpkin pancake and waffle mix.

Can't wait for Sunday morning!

I love pumpkin anything...pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin bisque, pumpkin ale, pumpkin and couscous, pumpkin curry, pumpkin ice cream...I'll stop now, haha.

Sunday evening dinner:

Beef Brisket

Yorkshire Pudding

Roast Potatoes

Roast Parsnips

Carrots

Rich gravy made from the slow roasting stock.

Red reserve Rioja 2008.

It's a good thing for you that I don't live in your neighborhood because if I did, I'd be at your house every single night for dinner! :D

^^Sounds yummy....

I fixed bacon, scrambled eggs and an upside down cinnamon apple pancake. All cooked in my cast iron pans.

I've really gotten into trying to cook in my CI pans lately. Everything just seems to cook and taste better using them.

Mmm....this sounds like a wonderful special occasion dinner for autumn. What kind of dressing did you use for your salad? I like cooked kale but find it too bitter when eaten raw. I'd like to be able to use it for salads because it grows well into November where I live so I can buy it fairly cheaply from a few community gardeners in my city.

I didn't make it, this was at a restaurant. Sorry, can't help you with the dressing.

Leftover Cuban food from last night - vaca frita with rice and black beans and sweet plantains.

And wine :) A syrah-malbec blend.

BTW, CP, I meant to let you know I'll be happy to bring the wine with me when I start crashing your dinners!
