Geezer Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 There is no solo LP, no plans to release one, no band; most likely adding a few photos and trinkets to the site to keep us all passified for the next 2 years.........despite those on this board who are knowledgable historians, there is no one here with a direct line to Jimmy. Presumably Peter Makowski is working on new On This Day posts (why else would he need to be doing the research). I'm guessing they're working towards a new iteration of the site in either the Spring or Summer, that gives a decent window for changes from a web development spec. On the other hand, IF I were Jimmy Page and I was working on new material I would keep things under wraps until I was ready to release the music. He appears to have changed somewhat - although still mostly in the shadows, he did come forward with news of the remasters that are in-progress. His other careers have included being press officer for the New York Dolls, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, The Pink Fairies, Man, Motorhead, Michael Moorcock, Gary Holton and Tommy Chase; setting up an independent record label with Pete Townshend, playing guitar and writing songs for the infamous (or is that unfamous?)
