the fort worth boot , open your heart to fw , there were 30 test pressings in addition to the regular releases ( 300 ) , think that is what is being referred too

Yes indeed, that's correct! 350 numbered copies plus an additional 30 "test pressing copies".

BTW: Open your heart to Fort Worth is said to be from this show: https://www.ledzeppelin.com/show/tarrant-county-convention-center-march-3-1975

The provided track-listing corresponds with the listing on the site!LedZepFortWorth75LPboxback.jpg.f77305d6e5ee859508d3d5d01e280a22.jpg

Do you know if the recording that was used for this lp is the version I remastered, or is it the regular mono soundboard? Here's a sample of the one I did:

I'm sorry Steve, I can't tell you yet as the album is still on its way to me

When was the last time EVSD released a soundboard? Seems like a while ago….

Perhaps the well has run dry, or it’s just not profitable any more.

I was always convinced we’d get the rest of 29/9/1971….particularly after they released that teaser/extract of Please Please Me.

the 2021 Bloomington Minneapolis SB in 2021 was the last real SB.

You're not the only one who was convinced the rest of the elusive 929 SB would be released sooner or later (especially after the Please Please me snippet was released as a bonus on 928!). Two theories are floating around;

  • EV  backed out because  the seller's (Showco chap?)  demands for the remaining tape became downright outrageous
  • EV was fed up with the Mahdi chap who was throwing their precious material online for free.

the first explanation sounds plausible to me. The available 90 minutes SB  was milked in an unprecedented way, remember. First they released the separate 'singles' (Immigrant, Stairway, Friends) and  on the final 2CD Geisha release, Stairway and Friends '(and all the in-between plantations) inexplicably were omitted .

Obviously EV was hoping to release a more complete, ultimate (super expensive) 929 edition one or two years later, but it turned out different...ouch

I was about to start a new topic but thought a search would be wise.

I'm wondering the same thing. I collect soundboards almost exclusively and the Minnesota show is indeed the last one I've added to my collection.

Don't recall a gap of nearly three years between EVSD releases ... seems to always be EVSD. Maybe they've reached the bottom of the barrel. Hope not. :(

Thanks.
