What a nightmare of a day.  First, Ill start with the Dallas game. My Eliminator pick on ESPN>  Toast am I.  I do not agree with the refs on that blocked punt.  That should have been Dallas ball. Its bullshit.    The refs were out to fuck my Bills all game long.  Bullshit call after bullshit call.  What really sealed our fate was Beasley and G Davis dropping key pass's Josh put right in their hands on key drives. Either won would have won that game.  Perhaps the Bills and Cowboys were out on the town the night before?  Who knows?  But the refs stunk up the joint also.  They just suck.  McDermott needs to learn that red flag is not a handkerchief.  He needs to throw the damn thing.  Carolin has self destructed.  The Browns should go into NE next week and pound their ass's.  And the Bills had best be ready for number 91 of the Jets. He is a beast.    We need to wake up and win. I like our chances.  We havre a tough game on Turkey night.  I hope I can stay up because i have a bottle of California red wine, Napa Valley, Cabernet for that day.  Combined with Turkey dinner and having to watch the Lions, Ill be tired.

Your Bills and Walter's Cowboys cost me some coin!
Not much mind you, but to me, those two games were no brainers vs the spread.

As Strider said, "That's why you play the game."

And some horrible calls by the refs in both of those games.   That blocked punt by Dallas should have been Dallas ball.  Back in the 70s it would have been.  Now they have that stupid rule a player must keep the ball after he catch's it.  That "football play " bullshit rule.  So if that is the case, how can they say it was a change of possession by Denver?  Its horse shit.

Even though the Lions sucked last year, I was actually impressed with Adrian Peterson's efforts while he was here.  There's some gas left in that tank, especially if he only has to play half a year.

Darrin Fells asks for his release from the Lions, and Tampa Bay immediately signed him to their practice squad. At 36, I'm betting he told them either you dump me or I'm retiring. Enough of this nonsense!

The Lions haven't won in Pittsburgh since 1955.  Bobby Layne without a face-mask.  :'(

Am I watching football or Rugby?  This 'moving the pile' crap is getting out of hand.

Kudos to Justin Fields.  Seems they're over-coaching the poor kid.  If you're going to get sacked 9 times, it's time to run like hell.  At least you can see most of those hits coming, and see down-field better too.

RIP Pat Studstill.  I'm old enough to remember when he was our punter\receiver and LB Wayne Walker did the kicking.  That's only because the Lions were too cheap to hire specialists like the rest of the league.

How 'bout those Dolphins?

Sheesh...every team is up and down this year. Nobody can put together a winning streak. Except Arizona I guess. Now that New Orleans, Green Bay, and the Rams have laid eggs, Tampa Bay looks to be #2 in the NFC.

The AFC is a crapshoot. Freaking Cincinnati was the number one seed in the AFC a few weeks ago and now they are last in their division.

I am hoping my Bills gel at the right time.  I still like our chances because we have the best and most consistent defense in the NFL.  New Orleans is right up there.  That Thanksgiving night game will be interesting. If I can keep from passing out from wine and Turkey.  Ill make sure I see it.  Its the Bills.  We need to take care of the Jets.  Only, and I mean only part of their team that scares me is number 91 on the defensive line.  That guy is an animal. If McDermott does not have a double block scheme for him, Josh will be running from him.  But I expect the Bills to win. It was really a miracle that we lost last week. They had the help of the zebras of course.  But two dropped balls that were suspicious to me, also cost us. I like Cleveland to beat New England and I like Minnesota to score at will vs a Chargers team that cant stop anyone and their secondary has second stringers.  Ill take the Vikings in that one.  Also expect the Rams to bounce back and smash a very underachieving SF team.  Dallas is giving Atlanta 9.  I cant believe this line. Id take the 9 for sure.  Dallas likely wins but the Falcons get no respect and are still in the race.  Of course most teams are still in the race with a 17 game season.  Miami proved that Baltimore can be had.  Stop Lamar and they have nothing

Looks like Week 10 in the NFL is off to a wacky ass start similar to Week 9--or to better summarize it...

We know the Lombardi approach would never work in this day an age of spoiled millionaire players.  Babies.  At least your Dolphins woke up.  Nice win.  I had the book on Lombardi and Green Bay was my fav team when I was very young before the Bills entered the NFL.   I read Instant Replay.  Great book by Jerry Kramer and a must read for any football fan to see what it was like to play  for Lombardi.

I think Big Ben is out for the Steelers today, so maybe the Lions have a chance; emphasis on maybe...

Saints/Titans is the game I'm watching early...

Oh did you catch the end of the Lions vs Steelers game?  16-16 tie!!!  In Pittsburgh!!  That made it really sweet to see them NOT WIN>  I was cheering for the Lions of course.  They managed to grab a fumble on the sidelines and stop Pittsburgh from attempting a long FG in  a nasty downpour. Sloppy conditions.  So Lions now have a tie.  The Browns sure stunk up the joint.  The only game I had wrong on my parlays.  I need Minnesota to cash a third 3 teamer.  I had the Lions game under.  No I did not take my Bills minus 13 on the road.  They covered.  Murdered the Jets   A bunch of picks on another young QB that people tried to anoint too early after that one big game he had.  The Saints lost a real tough one. Scored the TD that may have tied things but missed the 2 pt conversion they needed for the tie.I had the Saints plus 3.  Oh yeah.  So we get Indy and then we go to New Orleans.  The schedule now looks tougher than it did earlier due to the resurgence of Billy boy Belecheck's team.  That wont last long though I will admit they could get a Wild Card.  But we will take their punk ass's out to the wood shed with our D.  I believe your Dolphins will win their 3rd in a row next week hosting the Jets.

^^ I caught the highlights of that Lions game during the Green Bay game I'm currently watching. A tie--I don't know if that's cause for celebration or not in Detroit? I guess if nothing else, a tie means they won't have the dubious distinction of going 0-17 in the inaugural season of 17 games (oi vey)...

Btw, more wackiness in the NFL this week--Bucs get beat by the Washington No-Names, Cleveland lays an egg, and the Cards are getting roasted by Carolina..

.

To me the Bills, Green Bay and Rams are the 3 best defenses in football.  The Bills have the best secondary.  Green Bay plays very smart schemes.  And they have some studs down low.  The Rams have the talent.  I only question their coordinator at times.  Now they have help coming.  Von Miller with Donald and Ramsey gives them 3 stats to work around.  Cleveland lays another egg.  Not surprised Baker banged up.  Am surprised the defense once again regressed

Anyone who had to watch the Steelers/Lions game in person should sue the NFL for their money back, and both teams should get a big L for that debacle.  I think the Lions pulled their new kicker off a stool at Buffalo Wild Wings.

The Rams are far from finished over one game. And SF still does not impress me.  sure they get Jacksonville this week.  The team that upset my Bills.  Are the Bills done? I think not.  SF is going no where.  They blew the beginning of the season.  They will fold like the pretenders they are.

I'm going to paraphrase the great Charles Barkley & say the Rams are softer than tissue paper...  😄

If I had to give a pick for the NFC Championship game right now, I would go with Green Bay & Tampa again or maybe squeeze Dallas in there as a dark horse...

Injuries are a bitch... Arizona should be in there, but they're too banged up. Whatever team can get the healthiest by January is the team to beat, IMO.

Look out Buffalo. Here comes New England. Rumors of Bill Belichick's demise were unfounded.

We will pummel them.  But first we have other business.  We do not see them until mid to late December.  First time in Buffalo.  We have to games in hand.  Play Colts Sunday and then on 4 days only the Saints on the road Thanksgiving night.  That is a bitch of a time to be up after turkey and a bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet.  But Ill be watching.   Bills are still favorite in Vegas to reach the Super Bowl.  NE will get a wild Card most likely given how pitiful your Raiders are.  NE plays Tennessee next I believe

Well, my Packers are 8-2, despite what feels like a never ending cascade of injuries to key players. Thankfully, we have a bye week coming up soon, which should allow some banged-up players some breathing room before the push towards the end of the season. I hope Aaron Rodgers plays better this afternoon than he did last week against Seattle. Admittedly, he was coming back from the Big Nasty and hadn't touched a football in about two weeks, but he's also only practiced once this week, and that was Friday, I believe.

Just hand the ball to AJ Dillon and let him run.
