Jahfin
Picked these up at a record show yesterday, all on CD. While it was a great show (as usual) the only real find was Boylan Heights. The Connells finally re-released all of their albums last year but only as mp3's. I've been told they're also going to be re-released on CD via Rykodisc but something tells me that's not actually ever going to happen. Kiwi_Zep_Fan87
Well, on the 7th of April, 2011, I achieved a pretty cool milestone. I was actually at my very first job. I was offered a postion of mid-term test supervisor for the 2nd year undergraduate kiddies at my University and I was paid a pretty impressive NZ $ 60 for the day's work! I decided to blow up NZ $ 16.32, on this beauty, right here : Being a 60's Garage Rock freak (as you guys already know ), I couldn't fuckin' help myself! Jahfin
Well, on the 7th of April, 2011, I achieved a pretty cool milestone. I was actually at my very first job. Vinyl or the box set on CD (which I think comes with some extras that weren't part of the original vinyl package)? Picked this up last night during the CD release show for it at Jessee's Coffee & Bar in Carrboro, NC: The night started with Jeffery Dean Foster (The Pinetops, The Right Profile) playing his opening set outdoors but an impending rainstorm meant the proceedings needed to move inside. Outdoors was great but once things went inside out of the rain it just pumped everything up another notch for Lynn Blakey's set. Here's a video clip of her performing "River" from the new EP accompanied by Jeffery Dean Foster and her husband Ecki Heins:

Kiwi_Zep_Fan87
Vinyl or the box set on CD (which I think comes with some extras that weren't part of the original vinyl package)? Well, I didn't order the entire box set with volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4. What I ordered, is the CD version of volume 1 (what actually was the original vinyl package without the extras) containing the following tracks : Track Listings 1. I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night) - Electric Prunes 2. Dirty Water - Standells 3. Night Time - Strangeloves 4. Lies - Knickerbockers 5. Respect - Vagrants 6. Public Execution - Mouse 7. No Time Like The Right Time - Blues Project 8. Oh Yeah - Shadows Of Knight 9. Pushin' Too Hard - Seeds 10. Moulty - Barbarians 11. Don't Look Back - Remains 12. Invitation To Cry - Magicians 13. Liar Liar - Castaways 14. You're Gonna Miss Me - 13th Floor Elevators 15. Psychotic Reaction - Count Five 16. Hey Joe - Leaves 17. Just Like Romeo And Juliet - Michael & The Messengers 18. Sugar And Spice - Cryan' Shames 19. Baby Please Don't Go - Amboy Dukes 20. Tobacco Road - Blues Magoos Apparently, the original contained 27 tracks? I guess 7 are missing in the CD what I ordered? But anyway, I was really stunned to find this for just $ 16 honestly Edited April 11, 2011 by Kiwi_Zep_Fan87

Jahfin
With the exception of the Mount Moriah these were all exclusive Record Store Day releases. I also grabbed a handful of free samplers including this very nicely packaged one from the fine folks at Sub Pop:
