  1. As a huge fan of the Garage Rock music genre, I'm just so freakin' heart broken right now!! R.I.P Jack Ely! You were the voice of a Garage Rock song, which was one of the most critical turning points for an entire genre of music!
  2. Another comedy show that I am binge watching of late, is "The New Statesman" starring Rik Mayall (of "The Young Ones" fame):
  3. Binge watching episodes of "The New Statesman" with Alan B'stard!
  4. ^^Don't worry, Dd! I'm doing great! Many thanks for your concern! I'm really enjoying my drink! Both my mom and dad both can hold their drinks while drinking whiskey and Bacardi, so I guess that it's all in the genes!
  5. More like Bon Appetit, what are you drinking? Well, I am currently, enjoying my first couple of pegs of whiskey! Jack Daniel's, anyone? It's like liquid fire! This is my very first time drinking whiskey and I gotta say, it's sublime!
  6. Thanks for the heads up, Strider! I really really really really really CANNOT WAIT to see it! As a fan of Nirvana, I was always hoping for an intimate documentary on Kurt Cobain! I saw the trailer on good old YT yesterday! So bloody good! Here it is :
  7. ^^^Wow, Sath!! Thanks for sharing that! Those photos of Jimi were totally new to me! Fascinating stuff!!
  8. That's a really nice photo of you and your mum, Walter! Nice to see you and thanks again for sharing! Thank you, Strider!
  9. ^^You're very welcome, Dd! I do hope it stays on YT permanently! Oh my gosh! The remarks made by that Mother Abbess, was pretty much a "what the heck?!" moment for me in that special! And I think she even declared that she could have done a much better job in singing "Climb Every Mountain" I think she might be one of the few people on this earth who wasn't moved by such a beautiful and inspirational song! Also, a heartwarming moment for me, was seeing vintage footage of Julie Andrews singing "Edelweiss" with the real Maria von Trapp! I am also glad to have learnt that the real von Trapp family had an easier escape compared to what was shown in the movie! **Edited for a spelling error
  10. This name just popped into my head: The Feisty Vixens
  11. ^^Gotta love Elizabeth Montgomery!
  12. Hi again, Dd! I know you posted this about a month ago, but I just had to log in to the forum today, to thank you! For, if it wasn't for you posting about the 50th anniversary special of "The Sound of Music" on this thread, I wouldn't even have known about this! I watched it last night on good old Youtube and I loved it! Diane Sawyer definitely gives all of us fans a great inside look into so many aspects of the movie, which otherwise would have been unknown! Again Dd, thank you! Thank you so very much! For all fans of "The Sound of Music" who are residing outside the U.S, here is a link to the 50th Anniversary special on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_GeA_JkDsU
