  1. BUMP!! Hiya Strider! I know that it isn't the 29th of July yet, in the U.S, BUT it most certainly is, in my neck of the woods....so, I would like to take this opportunity to bring this thread back up again, in order to wish you, A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Just want to kick things off with a little music: First, a very well-known birthday song (courtesy of 'The Fab Four'): Next, this lovely song by the amazing Led Zeppelin is sure to put a smile on your face (it is very happy and relaxing to listen to): And finally, yet another 'happy' Led Zeppelin song (one of my absolute fav accoustic tunes!): http://youtu.be/eXVlcIiCOuo Have a lovely birthday, my Southern Californian friend Cheers to you!
  2. I never had the pleasure of interacting with pottedplant, but nevertheless, I am saddened to hear about her passing! May her soul R.I.P. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
  3. Many Happy Returns of the Day, TypeO!
  4. People Are Strange - The Doors
  5. Nope. It's very much American. It is rather 'loosely' based on "Malcom in the Middle". It stars folks like Patricia Heaton (of "Everybody Loves Raymond" fame).
  6. I'm so sorry for your loss, JTM. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
  7. (Belated) Happy Birthday reswati! Hope you had a great one! Hopefully, the Netherlands will win the FIFA World Cup!! Happy Birthday to StairwayRemainsTheSame! Have a great one!
  8. Hi, I echo Strider's and ebk's sentiments. Between work and renovating my new home, I haven't kept track of the birthday calender at all! Damn!!! Belated Happy Birthday Julie! I know you had to work on that day but I am really glad that it turned out to be a very special day for you! Belated Happy Birthday Paul! Hope you had a great one! By the way, I've been a fan of General Hospital for about 10 years now and I have to say, I really like your avatar of Luke Spencer! Belated Happy Birthday SuperDave! I don't know you very well, but I hope you had a great birthday! Happy Birthday Sue Dounim! I know I rarely post in the Led Zep live section of the forum, but I really do love reading your contributions! Cheers!
  9. I completely agree! Never in my life have I taken one nor will I ever take one in future. Ever.
  10. There are many threads on Graveyard around here and I honestly could not decide which thread to post this in, so I chose this thread at random! Yes, I am aware of the existence of that nifty little search function, thank you very much! This little piece of news below honestly made me smile! Looks like a certain Mr. Page is a fan of Graveyard! GET THE LED OUT It hasn’t been that long since he rock ’n’ rolled. Guitar god Jimmy Page was a spectator in Webster Hall’s VIP section Sunday (May, 11th) while Swedish hard rock band Graveyard rattled the stage. One concertgoer tells us the Led Zeppelin great, accompanied by his bodyguard, stocked up on concert tees and vinyl editions of Graveyard albums on his way out. 11. Absolutely love these guys! It is really nice having a separate thread for them on the forums! Also, if my memory serves me correct, it was you Strider who introduced them to me a while back! I seriously owe you big time! Anyway, here are some of my favourite songs by "The Black Angels" : And last but not least, the one with a 60's Garage Rock twist to it
  12. Ugh! So sad! According to some reports, the cause of death was a drug overdose.

  14. I grew up in the 90's. I first found out that James Avery had passed while watching the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards! Needless to say, I was devastated! I'm a HUGE fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air! That comedy show sure got me through some tough and devastating times growing up! IMHO, Uncle Phil and Will were the ones who drove the show! R.I.P James Avery!
  15. Happy Birthday Kate! Hope you had a lovely birthday! Miss you loads!!
  16. One of my all time favourite shows!!
  17. What a lovely start to 2014! Sending good and positive vibes your way, Strider!
  18. Great mystery thriller set in Melbourne, Australia Highly recommended! There are many twists and turns along the way and the plot will keep you guessing till the very end as to who the actual killer is!
  19. Also, I second what Julie said! Dear Sam, could you be so kind as to give Big Dan another chance and allow for his return here?? Sorry for being off topic!!!
