  1. Great set list! Would love to see him solo. Was fortunate to catch him twice with KISS and he upstaged everyone else both times!
  2. Bea-YOOOO-tiful here also! Has been around 60 at night and about 80 during the day. Nice breeze as well. Love this time of the year!!
  3. Here is a GREAT Halloween parody video that I found on the web: or this link http://technorati.com/entertainment/article/lady-gaga-parody-video-happy-gagaween/ Goes to show how many memorable looks/outfits she has worn - and no meat dress either! Happy Gagaween everyone!
  4. Here in Orlando, VIP package gets first four rows guaranteed. Don't know about a GA show. Have fun!
  5. Super Dave, I say - you only live once. If you have the means, make the memories. Plus your seats are guaranteed to be in the first few rows, right? Either way, have fun at the show! Peace.
  6. Even though the notes sound the same in the music, the GnR 'attitude' is missing. Plus they (he) should be ashamed to be out there as GnR, that is the Axl Rose solo band, IMO. They haven't even sold enough tickets for the opening night of the tour to warrant selling seats in the upper level of the Amway Center in Orlando, BTW.
  7. Hi KB, F-U!!!!!! Still no excuse on the Raiders part to give up 2 FIRST ROUNDERS to get a qb who most thought would only take a 2nd rounder to get. Over payment out of desperation, IMO.
  8. Strider, I see that the silver and black just gave up a 1st round pick in 2012 and possibly another 1st round pick in 2013 for Carson Palmer!?!
  9. Sad as it is, the IRL was doing just that. This was Danica's last race, since she will be driving full-time in NASCAR next year and that is/was their marqee driver. They tried to put too many cars (a record 34) on a track that is too narrow and short for them. Indy cars need more room because they cannot touch each other or else you will get what we saw on Sunday - projectile cars. They juiced up the money involved (Wheldon was driving for a possible $5,000,000 winner's purse) in hopes to increase t.v. ratings and wanted a bigger market to help with making more of a stir for the league's final race of the season.
  10. We all know how accurate THAT site is! We've had less than a handful of shows released by the band, I don't see much more of that happening unless someone else gets the legal rights to release more.
  11. Amen to that! I am so sad to hear this news. So many drivers.... RIP Dan.
  12. Very nice, Viper! So is your avatar! Peace.
  13. Thanks for the info., Sam! Looking forward to it.....
  14. Very cool to read the enthusiasm of someone listening to what is probably my favorite show of all-time, for the first time! If I need a "pick me up" in the morning, I just put on that show and away I go!! Congrats John1972 and welcome to the forum!
  15. Hope your research is going well! Where are you studying?

    Peace.

  16. Earl's Court 5/24/75 - video - 1st hour or so, "No Quarter" currently.
  17. Just heard that Al Davis has passed away at the age of 82. Sad day for the Raider organization and the world of football as a whole. RIP Mr. Davis
  18. Congrats to the St. Louis Cardinals for a great win last night and for sending the city of Philadelphia into official melt-down mode!!
  19. The 3rd leg was what a handful of dates? That didn't downgrade the tour on its own. From what I understand from those who were there to witness the shows - it was a visual spectacle, especially for back then. The fuck ups weren't as obvious, if you were there. Since we have the luxury, for better or worse, of listening to these shows over and over again - dissecting them along the way - we don't get the whole multi-sensory aspect of the shows. Listening to '77 compared to other years, it doesn't consistently stand up to the high levels of other tours. With that said 6/21/77 is probably my favorite show to listen to, until the fore mentioned solos near the end of the set. Everyone has their own favorites, as far as tours go. I am just glad that we have the variety of shows that we do to enjoy! Peace.
  20. I am happy for the city of Detroit also. The Lions have really come along and the Tigers got into the ALCS, while the Red Sox couldn't even get into the playoffs - again - so much for buying success!
  21. Enjoy your division series win, I'll look at those 27 World Titles instead! Cough, cough, cough....no that's not Bong-Man exhaling, that's A-Roid choking AGAIN when he is actually needed to produce. If anyone has not been paying attention, money does not buy championships - even though that is a popular statement to make when referring to the Yankees. They won more often when their talent was home grown and not brought in at elevated salaries.
  22. RIP Mr. Jobs. What an amazing affect he had on the world in only his 56 years on Earth! A modern day Benjamin Franklin. Peace be with you sir.
