That would take some concessions between band members, which just isn't their style. I hope GnR do get in - that will be some kind of scene. You know Axl will have to show up, since it is HIS band. If any other original members come, it may get "tense". I know there have been some shows performed with Izzy and Duff, individually, but with all of them together in one place it should get wild. Then throw in Gilby Clarke, who has sued the band.....backstage may be more rockin' than a trailer park on a Saturday night - at the beginning of the month!

It's Woodstock, not San Francisco. He changed what he was singing in that portion of D&C mid-way through the '75 tour. After the Feb. break, I believe. I like the way the Woodstock lyrics sound against the moody pre-Achilles portion of the jam better than SF, personally. Otherwise, D&C was too played out at that point in their career, IMO. Peace.

I thought the Yankees, being the top seed in the AL, would have played the Rays in the first round - what gives? Completely agree with you. But there was no guarantee the Sox would've beaten the Rays in a one game playoff anyway. I love to see the Red Sox go into the tank - but would much rather have the Yanks playing them than the Rays. The AL playoffs are going to be very interesting and unpredictable. As far as the NL goes, the pressure is on in Philly. They were supposed to win the whole thing going away, coming into the season. Let's see if they can deliver!

I know, Dizzy Reed is the only one from the Use Your Illusion days. Everyone else is part of the post Slash and Duff version. They are starting the tour here, but Axl burnt his bridge with me years ago when they didn't come on until about 1am, over 3 hours after Metallica finished their set. Too bad, when they had their shit together G n R could rock with the best of them! Just not willing to waste the time or money on Axl and his "cover band".

Just picked up a couple of tickets to Jason's show that is coming to the Hard Rock Live in November. I missed him last year when they came around due to a flag football I was coaching (that went into double overtime) with my son's league. Looking forward to seeing it!! The ticket start time is 8:00, does the show usually start at that time or not? After reading every-one's reviews of the show, I am stoked to see them. It'll be my 3rd show with Jason, 1st time with Page on the Outrider tour, then at a small bar to see his band Bonham (which was a drunken mess of a night) and now this. Can't wait.....

They date back to Beck's "Truth" album and probably earlier than that. Yeah, I think it would be very interesting to see what they could come up with for a song arrangement or more. Hearing something from Jeff and Robert would be very cool as well!

I haven't listened to it in years, but I am going to dust it off and put it in the car tonight. I just remember being in love with the atmosphere of "Shining In The Light", back when it came out. What a beautiful picture Jimmy can paint with his guitar and arrangements!

I think it is very intriguing! With the way JPJ has been working with everyone, why wouldn't he do a little something with Beck and anyone else who might be along for the ride!
