  1. Steve, thanks for sharing the info on this! I remembered watching this on HBO and I also videotaped it since my older brother and I were excited to see Zeppelin perform. I remembered Jimmy's guitar was a bit out of tune during Kashmir though, but yes, he was certainly nervous! Wish I still had the videotape. That was a good show from the other acts as well.
  2. The Nazi stormtrooper getup was from the 1977 tour and I have no idea why he was dressed like that. Anyways, I love all the pics of Jimmy, thanks everyone for sharing them!!
  3. Yes, I agree the pics from Knebworth he is looking mighy fine! I have always been a Pagette, but here lately, I have been loving me some Robert!!
  4. I just ordered this CD and cannot wait until it comes!! I like alot of different types of music and I think it is cool that Robert stepped out of his rock and roll "element" for this. I hope they play the states and come to my area, I would certainly love to check them out! I wonder how ticket sales are going in the UK?
  5. I have always been a Stones fan, I have been listening to them practically my whole life, LOL.
  6. Agreed 100%, I love both the Jimmies!! I have Are You Experienced?, it is wonderful.
  7. I picked Zeppelin. I only have Abbey Road by the Beatles and Sticky Fingers by the Stones but have heard bits and pieces of the other work they put out during those years and they are all great.
  8. I would probably be too starstruck to say anything but I would certainly thank them for making such great music that is still timeless to this day.
  9. I agree totally!! He is just a brilliant actor. Really? That is so cool! The name of his band was called The Kids and he has mentioned in an interview that they once opened up for Chuck Berry, Iggy Pop, the B-52's and The Pretenders.
  10. This is super tough!! I choose The Ocean and D'yer Mak'er would be my next favorite.
  11. All the songs listed are great, but my personal fave is Ten Years Gone.
  12. When the Levee Breaks but Misty Mountain Hop is a close second.
  13. You never know! Also, maybe their family members might be lurking out of total curiosity.
  14. I would say Knebworth even though I was only 6 years old at the time, lol!!
  15. I totally agree 100%! After I have listed some, I start to think of many others I left off, lol.
  16. Wow, that is so cool!! Thanks for sharing. I wonder if he has ever met Page or Plant? Besides Zeppelin, Johnny Depp is my other obsession!!
  17. It is so cool that those of you who have been fortunate enough to meet any of them are sharing your stories! I would be way too nervous to say anything if I were ever that lucky to meet them!
  18. I really like ELO! They have some cool songs!
  19. Why do some people make such a huge deal about Zeppelin stealing a few songs? Do you all think that just because they were so successful that some people can't give it a rest? Haven't alot of other artists done that at one time or another? Anyways, didn't Zep go back and credit the artists later though? Just seems like old news to me.
  20. Hi JRich! Nope I haven't gotten the DVD of TSRTS yet, but certainly plan on buying it as soon as I can.
  21. I am loving the pics of these two together! Indeed hotness for sure, LOL!
  22. Oh my, really? I know they went through alot of band changes during that time after their original bassist and guitarist died, but when I saw them in 2000, they were really good. I guess they were having a really off night when you saw them!
  23. Have a wonderful birthday Jimmy, you lovely silver-haired fox!!
