That asteroid has made the news again last night. National news. They say its to pass between the Earth and the moon. A bit too close for comfort and enough to make us start asking what in Gods name could we do if we were going to get hit? And can we believe without any doubt this damn thing wont hit us? I guess this one is the size of half a football field? Scary shit

For a hit ? Well at the momment it is all rather vague, ideas abound action seems rather thinner on the ground.

Interactive Mars Rover map:

http://www.360cities.net/image/mars-panorama-curiosity-solar-day-177#13.70,23.50,85.0

Blows my mind that we have a little robot sitting on Mars beaming back all these pictures.

Good Googly Woogly I am impressed.

I just read an article that says it will take about 500+ days for Astronauts to get there.

NASA is befuddled by lack of sunspots. They were expecting 2013 to be a active year for solar flares and appearance of sunspots. Who knew? Maybe they are the same experts that predicted the massive snowstorm that shutdown DC this entire week.

i saw the space station last night!

it was amazing. at first it looked just like a star, then i began to realise it was moving, and it went straight over our house. :)

I'd love to see the Space Station fly overhead.

When and where do I look for it on any given clear night ???

Well the front page of CNN now says life may have existed on Mars. But more samples are coming. Itis not difinitive, but they are optomistic they will find the proof it seems. But what kind of life? I realize if even microscopic protozoa are found it will be percieved as Earth shattering news. Buts lets wait until we know for sure. These scientists are very fast and eager to report things.
