Strider
Damn. This one hurts. Talk Talk pulled off one of the most remarkable 180° turns in music with their latter-day classics "Spirit of Eden" and "Laughing Stock". I had always held out hope for a Talk Talk reunion or at least another Mark Hollis tour. Now, that wish is impossible. NME is reporting Mark Hollis has died at age 64. https://www.nme.com/news/music/mark-hollis-talk-talk-reportedly-died-aged-64-2453863 Edited February 25, 2019 by Strider

I enjoyed a number of their songs during the early to mid 80's.

I watched more than my fair share of Beverly Hills 90210 myself. It was an occupational hazard of the '90s. If you were dating you invariably found yourself with a woman who watched 90210...and had a thing for 'Dylan'. You either learned to appreciate it, learned to endure it, or got yourself another woman.

SteveAJones
Hal Blaine I just heard the very sad news that session drummer Hal Blaine has passed. Some were very fortunate to celebrate his 90th birthday with him just recently at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles, where he performed publicly for the last time. Arguably the greatest studio session drummer ever. Edited March 11, 2019 by SteveAJones
