Bayougal65
I am not sure where to put this or even what I think. It is a bit unsettling, but that is the nature of art. http://hyperallergic.com/95827/sculptural-remnants-and-re-creations-of-jimmy-page/

Strider
I think it's terrific. Yes, it's a little unnerving but it's also creative and shows a sense of imagination and flair. I can't wait to share this with my friends. By the way, wasn't Lloyd Dobler the name of John Cusack's character in "Say Anything"?
Bayougal65
By the way, wasn't Lloyd Dobler the name of John Cusack's character in "Say Anything"? Yes!!!! Love it!!! Great catch, Strider! The gallery's website won't open for me, I will have to look later. They do have a FB page. I think the best art provokes a reaction, love it or hate it. I have a feeling Mr. Page would find this exhibit very intriguing, I hope he hears of it.
aen27
Thanks bayougal65! I hope Jimmy does hear of this. Its intriguing AND unsettling! I loved them. They are so different. Thank you for sharing this here.
FireOpal
Why are her sculptures always seated? Also, Jimmy is very English - one usually doesn't think of him sitting sprawled on the floor, with sneakers on no less, hands between his legs. That's an American posture. Oh there I go crabbing again. I'm not a great fan of modern art; most of what I've seen looks like it was done by a mentally disturbed child. SteveAJones
Why is Zoso sweater Jimmy so keen to protect it's balls?
FireOpal
Ah yes, that's a representation of traditional masculinity under assault by the post-industrial influences of feminism and the automated workplace.

60blues
Zoso sweater Jimmy bears a striking resemblance to Frank Zappa imo..... Well......it`s definitely interesting and thought provoking....to say the least.....
Tortilla
The last sculpture in the group picture of them looks sort of like a garbage bag. I wonder what Jimmy's reaction would be if he saw these...
Cecil.
Zoso sweater Jimmy bears a striking resemblance to Frank Zappa imo..... Well......it`s definitely interesting and thought provoking....to say the least..... Well, it is certainly giving me thoughts of trying to sell the contents of my dustbin to the artist for their next work.
truth and beauty
Well, it is certainly giving me thoughts of trying to sell the contents of my dustbin to the artist for their next work. Ha ha ... but why rely on that artist ? ....( goes to own dustbin and attempts to conjure all 4 Zep members from food waste and old newspapers )

Disco Duck
At first I thought JP had taken up sculpture and was having an exhibition of his work.

nirvana
OMG to even dare associate Jimmy's name with this crap called "sculpture" is boarding on criminal or at a minimum - insane. Let's call it what it really is - a piece of drug-induced shit.
truth and beauty
Still loving them. They're inventive and funny. I hope they tour in the UK and that Jimmy is invited to the preview !
