What's Your Latest Purchase?

Since it's my spring break and I'm one of ten people on my college campus to not be traveling anywhere, I went crazy at my local record stores. It's a note as well that I bought my first batch of vinyl records; they're great.

Joan Sutherland and Luciano Pavarotti-La Travaitta on vinyl. Not sure I spelled that right. :o:D I've never bought anything opera before. It was only a dollar and I'm trying to expand my musical horizons so I figured what the hell.

Thanks. I absolutely adore them. I can already tell that it's going to be an additonal addiction of mine music-wise (as if I didn't buy enough albums way), and I absolutely love the look of vinyl. The art, the size, etc. They look a lot better than CD's.

But I am very jealous of your record collection. Some of the stuff I've seen you post is really obscure and stuff and I'm sure what I've seen is just the tip of the iceberg.

Thanks. You are right, there is kind of an addiction.. It has been for me since I started purchasing records. Vinyl is definitely the best format for music, I think, though I can see some advatages with the digital format as well..

I bought Money/Magazine by this band Daggers that supported Gary Numan the other night. They were awesome. B)

I wanted to buy the vinyl really, but I'm making do with the cheaper downloads for now. :D

I saw that Clapton greatist hits album at WalMart yesterday for only $8.99. Had just about everything real big he has ever done. cant remember the exact name of it. Its got a grey CD case. I am tempted.
