Now we're talking ! Right out of 72. Probably fewer pics of that NA tour than any other.

Those are great shots MAD B)

Not only fewer pics of the '72 NA tour but less film footage as well. It's really too bad because, of all of the concerts I attended, those '72 concerts were two of my very favorite Zep concerts. :) I LOVE the '72 LZ era! :D

Thanks, Dzldoc. I have seen this before.

The Rover's return bootleg has a good collection of photos of the boys playing at the Showgrounds, Sydney on Feb 27th 1972 :)

It's so true that those early shows had unusually strong energy. I always remember the 1969 concert for that sheer intensity that totally rocked you.

great pic!

Yeah, slave to zep, they are really interesting because you can see the faces of the audience members so clearly.

Here are two more posted by "itr" over at RO. Have never seen these before, note the first pic is dated 1969, San Francisco, The Herb Greene Studio.

Another great shot of the band onstage, don't have any dates for this one. I think it's interesting because of the angle of the shot and the crowd in front of the stage with arms raised up to the guys.

This picture has always made me laugh - Jonesy, Bonzo & Pagey are all bundled up, and then there's Percy with his shirt wide open in all his glory  Gotta love it!!
