Now we're talking ! Right out of 72. Probably fewer pics of that NA tour than any other.

Not only fewer pics of the '72 NA tour but less film footage as well. It's really too bad because, of all of the concerts I attended, those '72 concerts were two of my very favorite Zep concerts. :) I LOVE the '72 LZ era! :D

Thanks, Dzldoc. I have seen this before.

The Rover's return bootleg has a good collection of photos of the boys playing at the Showgrounds, Sydney on Feb 27th 1972 :)

It's so true that those early shows had unusually strong energy. I always remember the 1969 concert for that sheer intensity that totally rocked you.

Yeah, slave to zep, they are really interesting because you can see the faces of the audience members so clearly.

yes, and the arms and shoulders of jimmy and bonzo. so lovely. god, i wish i saw their shows, what a buzz it must have been. and thie audience in that pic is SO close. did they know what they were witnessing?
