Your poll is missing too many! Page's playing during the early days was great - How Many More Times from 69', Over The Hills And Far Away throughout the 1975 North American tour, Heartbreaker during 1970, Whole Lotta Love and Dazed & Confused during the European tour of 1973, and maybe the best of all - White Summer from 69' and 70'

Communication Breakdown in '71... trying to find the date. LP was stolen.

other than that the Babe I'm Gonna Leave You from Shepherd's Glen is it for me.

Gotta say Achilles at Knebworth. Takes me back to the summer of being 13 and discovering so much Led Zeppelin at once.

This is the show where he used the Strat instead of the LP on NQ and it really make a difference. My favorite version hands down, Page does some crazy stuff.

You have great taste, John.

Great choice. Close but no cigar. I go for Thankyou from Orlando 71.

I will never agree that it was a pure improvisation. I'll say the same for the solos on Stairway to Heaven TSRTS and No Quarter TSRTS. Jimmy was having a hard time writing/learning those solos prior to performing them.

Thank You BBC is great but this is picturesque :)

You're saying you think he rehearsed all of these solos beforehand?

BABE IM GONNA LEAVE FROM THE AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL 1998

YES! Easily one of the top 5 solos that Page has ever done, live or in the studio, at least IMHO. He absolutely kills it. A masterpiece of guitar playing:
