What candy do you stock in your bowl for Halloween? I look forward to gettin' down on some Mary-Jane Kisses and Dots.

John1972
Bite sized Snickers and Tootsie Pops. I usually pass out candy while the TV plays John Carpenter's 1978 classic, Halloween.

TypeO
I'm a sucker for Whoppers (let the jokes begin, lulz). Most milk chocolate, especially Reese's. Also love sour stuff, especially the Halloween staple, Sweet Tarts. I sort through the candy (safety check) and take my "Dad's Cut" right off the top. That's right, I am... ebk
Anyone tried these? They are fabulous!! Only trouble with getting them for TorT is that I won't give them out...

ledzepfvr
I buy what ever is on sale the night before or the morning of Halloween. If I buy it too early, it gets eaten and I have to buy more. It's usually a mix of somthing chocolaty, something sweet and sour or something gummy. I try never to have leftovers.

Magic Fills the Air
Whatever is discounted when I go to the supermarket! Most kids don't make that much of an effort here, so I don't either. I may get a few special treats in for the ones that have put some thought into their costumes.

Electrophile
We usually have Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (the miniature ones, but not the super-tiny ones you can buy now), Kit-Kats, that big variety bag of Hershey's chocolate, and some Nerds/SweetTarts so it's not all chocolate. Texas Melanie
Will my house get egged if I pass out celery? If you have to ask, then yes...yes it will get egged and hopefully T.P.ed as well. I just bought 3 huge bags of assorted bite sized chocolates at Costco and I need the strength and will power of a super hero to stay out of it. Honeybrown1976
I don't give out candy at my door (no one comes around). But, I do give out candy at my youngest son's school. I usually give out lollipops (Dums Dums), which are safe and small. Now for my personal bowl, I'm content with some candy corn and mini Snickers. If it lasts into Wed night then there will be very few trick or treators This is the 30 yr storm they say. Led Zep Girl
I always liked Nestles Crunch, Mallo cups, Clark bars and Dove I'm a peanut butter fan. Odd, because I detest PB&J sandwiches..... I don't care too much for chocolate either. Unless, they have nuts in them like peanut clusters.
