the chase
RIP guitarist Nash the Slash http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/nash-the-slash-a-k-a-jeff-plewman-dead-at-66-1.2640133 Nash the Slash appears from 2:25 to 2:40 in Robert Plant's promo video for Burning Down One Side: Thanks for posting this Steve. I searched him out on youtube not more than a month ago. I've had a solo album of his "And You Think You Are Normal?" for years that is just great... plus 1 or 2 FM albums. I saw FM open for Rush in 1981, but Ben Mink was in the band at the time. Funny, I never connected him to Robert's video.... Rest in Peace to the great Nash The Slash. A truly unique musician and performance artist. AM I JUST A CITIZEN?

zengac
Just heard about Maya Angelou's passing also. The breaking news email I received said "the writer's voice was born from a childhood tragedy that stunned her into silence for almost a decade. When she was 7, her mother's boyfriend raped her. He was later beaten to death by a mob after she testified against him. "My 7-and-a-half-year-old logic deduced that my voice had killed him, so I stopped speaking for almost six years," she said." Rest in peace Dr. Angelou

Walter
Yes, Zimmer was always a classy guy with a fire in his belly for baseball. Old school without a doubt and will be missed by the game and people involved in it for sure! RIP Don Zimmer.

slave to zep
Such a shock, The Young Ones and Blackadder comic Rik Mayall passes away. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-27770266 I am beyond heartbroken over this. My favourite comedy ever was the young ones, and I think Rik was an amazing actor and comedian. So sad. He was still a young one.
