I had to run my dog outside about half an hour ago, and we only made it halfway up the street before we had to turn around and come back to the house. Not because it's too cold for me or anything, but he wants to run and play in the snow, and I don't feel like being dropped on my ass and breaking something. We got more snow/sleet than freezing rain, so even though it's been very windy, we didn't have issues with power lines coming down or tree limbs bringing power lines down. So it does not kill your gutters and such. Plugged mine in yesterday. Wippee. Lets see if a big icicle does me in. 41 today they say and back to zero by tomorrow eve. Why the hell do I live here?
