Virginia
I've heard it a bazillion times on our classic rock station; although they don't play Zeppelin quite as often as they used to.
Reggie29
I reckon that since it was released on 8th November 1971, it has been played on average 13453 times, to date. That's if it was only played once a day, which I doubt. My calculation is based on: 36 years and 9 months (approx.) including 9 leap years. = 13453 days 37 years including 9 leap years. = 13514 days BTW this is only a guestimate. Medhb
Lots! But still not enough Yeah, you gotta find you a good classic rock station. We listen to Q104 here on the east coast. They play Zep ALL the time!! I hear Zep at least once a day and I'm not listening to the radio that much....

This. This. And This. It's not even in the Top 5 of songs they've done IMO, and people's unnatural obsession with the song causes some of their other, better songs to be completely forgotten. I don't hear WTLB on the radio, or Tea For One, or ALS, or In The Evening, or No Quarter.....you get my point. It's ridiculous. Led Zeppelin was more than just one song that everyone either fucked or got high to. And yes, I know people who've done either/or and sometimes, both. Evster2012
Got a little more mileage out of Floyd, and oddly, EZO's first album. Hoooouse of a thousand pleeeasures! And Soungarden. Holy fuck! Literally! But upon reflection, it's about the partner. Those were just the albums that were playing when...
Jimmy's A Legend
So is it just an American radio station that plays rock songs? Unless if i can reach it from England? Incase you couldn't tell i don't usually listen to the radio.

I honestly don't know what they play across the pond. I guess I'm just lucky to get a shot of Zep when I jump in the truck.
Electrophile
So is it just an American radio station that plays rock songs? "Classic rock" is a radio genre yes, and there are stations in basically all markets in this country have at least one. There's a difference between that station and modern rock, which plays rock music from current artists.
longdistancewinner
Here we only have a handful of national radio stations. The main one being Radio 1. That never plays Zeppelin - unless it's a rarity and they're interviewing one of the band, they'll probably play a 60 second clip. There are a few others, and they don't play Zeppelin (Radio 2 might, but I don't listen to it all that often). Then there's local radio, and they certainly don't play Zeppelin. So, unless you have Digital radio, and have a specific rock station, you don't have a cat in hells chance of hearing Zeppelin on the radio in UK. Now, when I was in Florida, it like was euphoria. They had several classic rock stations just for one city! I couldn't believe the amount of times I heard Zeppelin on the radio. And so did a certain car with a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks.... I loved it although I just really seem to pass it by nowdays .
