leddy Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Ye God thats difficult.. 1 ) Well if we can get away with the Led Zeppelin Box set as one then that has all my fave Zep tracks on it. Although I listen to Presence the most I couldn't do without Black Dog and When the Levee Breaks so I would take the 4th if the box set didn't count ! but then again I would miss Achilles, so it has to be the box set and would take that above all else if I couldn't take the other four . 2) Close to the Edge-Yes 3) Moving Pictures-Rush 4)Back in Black-AC/DC 4)Deepest Purple-Deep Purple (the best from Mk II and III) Quote
lzfan715 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 1)Physical Graffiti. Not my favourite Zep album, but more power for a longer time. 2)Pearl- Janis Joplin 3)Surrealistic Pillow- Jefferson Airplane 4)The White Album- The Beatles 5)The Doors Quote

docron Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) Hmm... I should've picked more double albums. You know - more bang for your, um, more songs for your... Alot more songs. Tommy's Purely Double-Album List: Physical Graffiti | Led Zeppelin Wheels of Fire | Cream White Album | The Beatles The Wall | Pink Floyd London Calling | The Clash Disclaimer: Tommy recognizes full-well that there are other [non-double] albums available that surpass these in quality. Tommy's goal in creating "Tommy's Purely Double-Album List" was to cheat the system in order to get a larger body of music onto said desert island. Edited September 15, 2008 by docron Quote
Roxie Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 For the most part, my picks are going to be a little different: Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti I Mother Earth - Dig Mother Love Bone - Apple Prodigy - Fat Of The Land Megadeth - Peace Sells But Who's Buying Quote
Swede Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I would probably pick a couple of albums with various artists to get as various music as possible. Doesn't matter how great of an album I pick, I will be dead tired of listening to it over and over anyway.. Even if I have hundreds of albums at home, I still have days when I don't want to listen to any of them, and would rather listen to something new I haven't heard. Quote
