I have a million versions of the other songs
The Lady Who's Sure
i also thought that misty mountain hop was an odd fit and the communication breakdown/celebration day but your right, i suppose it wasn't that weird
NickZepp
What is so odd about this one? the only unusual live songs are four sticks and gallows....Im not sure if they really have one. I have a million versions of the other songs It's odd because it's not in any real order of a kind. They usually had the softer accoustic songs together building up to a heavier part of the show the odd thing about that setlist is the fact that Gallows Pole is played after the accoustic set. And the fact that the song was rarely played live anyway. Four Sticks was only played live that one time.
3hrsoflunacy
The only thing I can think of that was odd was 1972.06.19 - band played Dancing Days twice.
badgeholder
'72 set lists are usually the weirdest. Where else can you get Rock & Roll, Immigrant Song AND the Song Remains the Same in one set?
MisterMcLov1n
Probably the Tour Over Europe. All My Love and TKAR were concert rarities.

Hammersmith
How often was "When The Levee Breaks" played live? I have it on a vinyl boot, but that's the only live version I have.
EzyEric
How often was "When The Levee Breaks" played live? I have it on a vinyl boot, but that's the only live version I have. A couple times in early 75, Brussels (1-12) and Chicago (1-20) I assume they were not pleased with the way it sounded live. Unfortunately neither of these shows recordings are good quality. NickZepp
A couple times in early 75, Brussels (1-12) and Chicago (1-20) I assume they were not pleased with the way it sounded live. Unfortunately neither of these shows recordings are good quality. There are reasonably good versions of both shows. But Robert's voice is very bad. Those shows also had the Wanton Song which was a song only played live the first month of the 75 US tour.

Unfortunately neither of these shows recordings are good quality. Thanks EzyEric, Just looking at the lp here, it's actually called "Live On The Levee" from Chicago 1975. I've been meaning to transfer it to cdr.

That's also alot of songs an encores, even for Led Zeppelin, the only shows with more are 1/26/69 Boston, and 8/4/79 Knebworth. This one gets my vote. Lots of interesting/rare occurrences. It sort of mimics a 1972 list.., but random songs are shuffled in.

fsmith9095
I think the 5/3/71 show in Copenhagen was great just for the preview of "Four Sticks". The 71 Japanese tour had a few rarities-"Friends" & a snippet of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" as well as a truncated version of "Pennies From Heaven" within D&C.
