Electrophile Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I've never seen Goldfrapp or Sigur Ros live. Both are exceptional groups. Quote
Electrophile Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Pink Floyd No offense, but that's about as likely as a Beatles reunion. Rick's dead and if you think David and Roger are getting on the same stage again, you're asking for too much. They buried the hatchet enough to tolerate each other on stage for 18 minutes five years ago......but that's it. Quote

Rick's dead and if you think David and Roger are getting on the same stage again, you're asking for too much. They buried the hatchet enough to tolerate each other on stage for 18 minutes five years ago......but that's it. No offense taken...the tread asked what bands would you like to see and Pink Floyd would be one. The band went through a couple reincarnations before settling into the sound that I remember as a kid and bands have been known to replace members who have passed but then it wouldn't quite be the same without Rick. So I will amend my original choice, seperating the two so as not to cause any furthur bloodshed. Roger Waters (who is touring The Wall) David Gilmore Quote

austrian_zeppelin Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 i have been very lucky to see most of my heroes live on stage (even went to the O2 Reunion as the ultimate highlight) but there are still a few that have for one reason or another eluded me so far....in no particular order AC/DC Pearl Jam Pixies Attwenger (an Austrian folk punk duo) Wolfmother the rest are either dead (ie hendrix), disbanded (floyd although i have my fingers crossed for next may when i am going to see Waters do the wall...the others might turn up for a laugh), i have seen them (too many to mention) or i am simply not interested (rolling stones etc).
