2015 POTTEDPLANT MEMORIAL NFL POOL

Strider

Recommended Posts

Isn't there a Rugby World Cup going on right now, too, Reggie29?

Yes. In Great Britain.

Australia knocked England out of finals contention and we play Wales on Sunday, a win will put us at the top of our pool.

USA were beaten and eliminated by favourites South Africa 64-0 today.

The top two teams from each pool progress to the quarter finals next week.

There are betting markets available for any of you punters out there, Rick!?

Crikey! 64-0??? Does Donald Trump know about this? Maybe Trump, Jerry Jones, Paul Allen, and some of their rich cronies could pony up some money to fund an elite rugby training program. A country of our size should be able to field a competitive rugby squad.

Hear that Strider? Woodson wants to get his hands on one of Peyton's balls.

Sorry, haha, but I do believe I am the youngest person here.

As long as he doesn't want to teabag him.

Just a reminder to all to count your picks carefully to make sure all games have been chosen. Last week two players forgot a game...one caught it in time but the other didn't.

Thursday, 8 October

Houston LOSS (thought Watt was going to destroy Indy's battered O-line; thought wrong)

Sunday, 11 October

KC

Cinci

Atlanta

Jacksonville (barring a tie, this game is going to snap a streak either way. JAX have lost 11 straight road games, and TB have lost 11 straight home games! Jags have also won the last three matchups)

Philly

Baltimore

GB

Buffalo (don't let me down again)

Arizona

NE

Denver Broncos [1st place AFC West] over Oakland Raiders [tied for 2nd place AFC West]. (Time for our first showdown Strider! Let us see if Carr [The Kid] can defeat Peyton Manning [The Sheriff])

New York Giants over San Francisco 49ers (SNF game @ MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey)

Monday, 12 October

SD

Houston (Loss...where the hell was JJ Watt?)
Kansas City
Cincinnati...tough game to pick...Legion of Boom seems to be back with Kam but no Marshawn...10am starts for West Coast teams are difficult.
Atlanta
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Baltimore
Green Bay
Tennessee
Arizona at Detroit
New England
Oakland...I'd feel better picking Da Raiders if they hadn't just lost to Da Bears. Defense made crappy Jay Cutler look like Peyton Manning and now the real Manning is coming.
NY Giants
San Diego

Looks like I forgot to pick the Arizona@Detroit game in my bleary state late last night. I want to take Detroit...the poor devils have to win sometime, right? But Bong-Man's cogent analysis of the state of the Lions dissuaded me of that notion. Sooo...

Arizona, it is.

That was 6 hours of my life I'd like to have back.  Worse game I've seen in a generation.  Fire the coach !

And the owner while you are at it!

My God, you actually watched?

Pay attention Rick! Bong-Man said earlier he was going to the game with a friend.
