Hotplant
Sick. Inversions are deadly here. Worse than LA. Hate it. I really need to become a snowbird. This is getting old fast now. Our high will be a cold 29. Air: UNHEALTHY.

Reggie29
Clearing after some much needed rain. The good news is it fell on heavy drought areas on Christmas day and hopefully with a bit more follow up rain, the drought may be broken. The bad news is with higher than normal December rainfall, some 90mm+ (3"), there are flood warnings in many towns. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/video.aspx Page 2, 2nd video. Mangani
Rainy and mild (for this time of year). I yearn for the days when ground frost was the norm. Now there is just mud everywhere.
manderlyh
Sick. Inversions are deadly here. Worse than LA. Hate it. I really need to become a snowbird. This is getting old fast now. Our high will be a cold 29. Air: UNHEALTHY. I hear you, Sistah. Boise's inversions are just as bad. However, it's snowing now! Yessss!!!!!! It hasn't snowed in more than a week, and most of the snow in my yard is gone, for the only reason I have snow still is because my front yard faces north; most of the yards in this town that face south have NO snow left. manderlyh
^and to follow up: I just spent about 40 minutes shoveling my driveway. My neighbor shoveled the sidewalks this morning, so I only had to go over them quickly to clear them up again (both his and mine). The driveway was a mess though. My boyfriend walked ALL over it brushing the snow off the truck, and then drove on it when he left for work. I'm not blaming anyone, but that made it NO FUN. ...and throw a broken shovel into the mix, double NO FUN. I think I broke the neighborhood record for how long it takes to shovel a driveway with 4-5" of snow on it.
BlackSummerSide
It's snowing (I live high up in Sweden). It's lot of snow here, almost a half meter!
manderlyh
It's snowing (I live high up in Sweden). It's lot of snow here, almost a half meter! Let's see if I can get that much on January 4th. (I have to go back to work the 4th and the Fiesta Bowl is that day...I won't be able to watch my Broncos play.)

I didn't know you get the inversions too. It's horrible isn't it? Today and tomorrow we have storms so hopefully it will finally clear it out. Make that man of yours do the shoveling girl!!! I've injured my back many many times shoveling. Thank gawd I no longer have that chore.
LarryD
I did a bit of shovelin' today! And I know the air was clearer where I am than it's been lately. Took a snowhike in a valley canyon.
