Led Zeppelin Quotes

Love this quote Miss HD, where was this from? O2?

No, it's from an old MTV documentary about Jason's band Bonham, aired about 1989. There is a clip from it on YouTube, including the quote, but I can't get the link to work from here. If you put in "Bonham rockumentary" in the YouTube search, it'll come up :D

My personal favourite is my signature. Earls Court, 24th May 1975. It was also the day of the (then) Home International football match between England and Scotland at Wembley stadium. It appears that a good few who were at the match also had tickets for the Led Zeppelin concert. During the gig, there were numerous national flags being touted by these people, high up to my right, who were determined to make their presence felt. John Bonham was apparently annoyed by this behaviour, and upon his return to the stage for encores, took the mic and made his sentiments felt:

"I'd like to say at this point, that I think football's a load of bollocks".

Rock on, Bonzo!

"Music should be like making love -

sometimes you want it soft and

you want it hard and aggressive."

Poor Jonesey, he's the Spats of LZ :hysterical:

I like this quote by Jimmy but I'm not sure what year he said it:

"Nowadays, we're more into staying in our rooms and reading Nietzsche.”
