Yes, Tom Verlaine is great! I love Television (and his solo work)!

Another one that is worth mentioning is Alvin Lee, which seem to have been forgotten in this thread.

BTW, I don't understand the elitist snob-thing that some people talk about.. People just have different tastes, so what?.. :)
