I voted under "other". The best song lyrically in my opinion is Ramble On. Great lyrics especially for the fall season and I really love the lord of the rings refrence in the song " 'Twas in the darkest depths of Morodor mm I met a girl so fair But Gollum and the evil one crept up and slipped away with her."

Out of the ones listed I picked Ten Years Gone, but there are so many others that I love just as much...The Rain Song, The Rover, Kashmir, No Quarter, That's The Way.

Out of the available choices, I'd take Ten Years Gone. The whole 'randomly encountering your first girlfriend' thing is very poignant.

I pick In the Light. Its a great song amd the lyrics are wonderful.

"And you feel that you cant go on, and your wills sinking low, just believe and you cant go wrong, in the light, you will find the road." Brilliant.

i've always loved in the light ... but recently i've discovored the best lyrical content ever written for a song made by humans ( or humen i'm not sure ) ... Carouselambra's lyrics are very artistic and powerful and well put together, and as a song ... i think that it's just as good as Stairway or Achilles .. it's just so underrated .. jimmy's middle part just rocks, and JPJ' synthesizers are dripping honey all over the damn thing ... just love it :) it's my new favourite .. lyrically, as a whole song i'd still go with the light.

"Within their walls, their daunting formless keep,

Preserved their joy and kept their doubts at bay.

Faceless legions stood in readiness to weep,

Just turn a coin, bring order to the fray;" is that epic or what ??!!!!

The lyrics and the emotion with which Robert sings "Tangerine" is my favorite.

Do your eyes not sparkle, Senses growing keen

You've tasted love along the way, See your feathers preen

Kind of makes makes me feel sometimes, ya Didn't have to go

We are eagles of one nest, The nest is in our soul

As the moon and the stars call the order

Inside my tides dance the ebb and sway

The sun in my soul's sinking lower

While the hope in my hands turns to clay

I don't ask that my field's full of clover

I don't moan at opportunity's door

And if you ask my advice, take it slower

Then your story'd be your finest reward.

How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days?

Oh twenty-four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days

A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way

Sittin, lookin at the clock, time moves so slow

I've been watchin for the hands to move

Until I just can't look no more

I honestly pay more attention to Robert's voice than what he is actually saying, (as is the case with most bands for me) but, I will have to go with OTHAFA.
